When I made this trip in 2/00, I flew to Johannesburg, where I rented a car which had the paperwork to make it possible to be driven across national boundaries. I drove up through Zimbabwe, stayed at a camp run by nationals, then drove on to Victoria Falls, then into Botswana, where I stopped at Chobe National Park--an amazing park, by the way, and returned through the Kalihari Desert to Johannesburg--5 days.

lol. i've vowed so many times not to fly kenya airways but i still keep doing it. was flying to Johannesburg and lost my luggage. Got it two weeks later. apparently it went to Hong Kong and when i got it, it was empty. lol. good thing it was heavy cause i was traveling to school and they refunded me $3000. which was so cool.

I had a similar experience in Lusaka years ago, but the baggage guy demanded US Dollars to get my suitcase back, and when I refused he started taking things out of it. I was traveling alone and he kept on until someone else walked up. I love Zambia, but hate that airport.

I guess this is the Livingstone town's airpot in Zambia, by just looking at the interior its got the hallmark of Chinese designs for African clients, probably built by the Chinese just like the VicFalls Airport in Zimbabwe on the other side of the Falls

Kenya Airways have reported hundreds of millions of dollars in losses every year for the past three years. The government bails them each time because other governments bail businesses out. I think the it's the management that is bad.

Whenever I rent a car, I use my phone to video all around the car, with the representative of the hire company in the shot. That way if they try to charge me for anything, you can prove via the video of pre-existing damage.

my god you 2 have changed so much since the 1st episode it used to be about the countries and the travel now its all about making money, such a shame like so many before you, it started well and finished all big headed
