Learning to eat INDIAN FOOD in Singapore's Little India Zhi: 11: 48 That looks like _Chingay_, a government-organised parade/concert held 1-2 weekends after Chinese New Year (CNY. It was originally intended to make-up for the loss in festive mood when firecrackers were banned in the country in the early-70s (due to safety reasons, but was retained even after the ban was partially lifted in 2004 (allowing official celebrations e. g. the one in Chinatown to use firecrackers. The parade/concert has traditionally been Chinese-themed, but has become more multi-cultural more recently

Nate, FYI: Durian fruit: A smell so rotten, a taste so sweet-
Durian has been described as the most foul-smelling fruit in the world. Its aroma has been compared to raw sewage, rotting flesh and smelly gym socks. Durian's smell is so pungent that the spiky-skinned, custard-like fruit is even banned from public places in Singapore and Malaysia. But for its fans, there is nothing better in this world. I'm actually amused they went to touristy food places where the food is expensive and not exactly palatable and worth the price. We locals eat at hawker centres for just $2. 50 to $4. 50 depending on what you order and there are tons of stalls to go to. The best part is the food is tasty and great value for money!

I was swelling with joy to see you enjoy the Indian food and the experience. I've watched quite a few vlogs and I love them. But now I'm determined to watch all episodes from the beginning. You both are so positive and always assume the good of other people. I love to see you both together!

The day for interesting food for sure. My first choyice would have been little india. Food spoiled Kara poting. I would have to. Disapointing food is always a bummer. Sad you didnt enter the garden. Singapore is on my to go to list. The gardens alone is worth the trip,

Love love your videos! I have started from the beginning and loving it! Have you ever eaten crawfish before? I am from Louisiana and we eat this all the time. It is the best! You have to twist the tail off, and peel the shell, then eat the meat of the tail. So So good!

Yes, Kara, you were such a DIVA! -I don't like to work for food- LOL. But I am so glad, that traveling has changed you so much by now. You aren't ignorant and narrow-minded any longer.
Keep up your good work and never stop growing: ) Love Maxima

Watching this in 2022 and yes I'm binge watching it as I can.
Anyway, I'm surprised that you got gum on your shoe. I thought Singapore didn't sell gum anywhere. At least that's what I heard years ago. Did that change or did I hear wrong?

Lol. Looks like you went to Singapore and only experienced the crap parts lol. SO many better things to see, do and eat in Singapore. Been there so many times and have to stay at least 2-3 months each time. Its a blast.
