Hey Nate n Kara: Dubai is a great place to visit but August is not the best time to visit and as it gets REALLY HOT that time of the year. having said that but there are loads of indoor activities you can do here, if thats your thing.
Or else as an alternative, consider Sri Lanka, its only 4 hour flight from Dubai and its relatively cheap. and Most importantly there is so much to do and see in and I'm pretty sure you not going to get board: )

I know this is probably unnecessary, but regarding your eye, it reminds me of something that happened to another vlogger named Branden Bingham from This is How We Bingham. Forgot diagnoses but he ended up needing surgery with his eye sewn shut due to a stitch for a couple of days. They have videos of it, just thought to include it in case you want to check it out. Glad it went away!

Malta, Germany, and Austria are my votes! If you're going to visit Malta, for cost and comfort, don't go til November/December. August and September are the high season so it's crazy expensive. While we lived in Malta we vacationed in Salzburg, Austria and had an amazing time there! If you want suggestions for either Malta or Salzburg, just let me know.

An amazing place to visit is Morocco, it is just a short trip from Spain and has an amazing culture and it is a safe country too. I would recommend going to the desert even though we were not able to: . I would be better to go in the winter because it is cooler and it would work well with Europe because Europe is cheaper in the winter.

hi guys. You will love Zanzibar. Definitely try the outdoor food market on the esplanade. Totally delicious. I would love to see you travel in a local dala dala. Very intimate with people practically piled on top of one another. no such thing as personal space! When you are in Stone town watch out for the -toorist- police: )

Love your vlogs! I found you guys when researching for our upcoming Vietnam trip but ended up watching every vlog. If you hit up Bu Qatir in Dubai (and you definitely should, I would go like 3 hours before you plan on eating. Their food is so delicious but also super greasy.

You should plan to visit the Christmas markets around Bavaria, Germany (Munich, Nuremberg-huge) and Colmar, France. They are fun and truly magical that time of year. You can hop from one town to the next, distances aren't that great and transpo shouldn't be a problem.
