Wow. first off the comment section was brutal to all of you who were so mean spirited in the comments. REALLY! look everyone has a bad day, now just imagine ur in a place your unfamiliar with, not feeling well and yet you try and make the best of it, and nothing goes right. they are human, i appreciate their view of things, you certainly don't have to take it and be offended by it. just keep in mind they have feelings and they work hard to get these vlogs out there. it was a rough day and they could've sugar coated it for you. but why. it's their view of things. Kara you rock at editing. Nate you're killing the filming. better days im sure werr had after this vlog: ) BIG HUGS FROM IDAHO: ) sorry for the little rant.

So I know this is old but I find the comments toxic. When at an airport, regardless of which, its guaranteed to be stressful, especially when your senses are overloaded from crowds, lights, smells, and so on. Personally, seeing the real experience, good and bad shows that they're providing quality content and all of their memories which isn't edited like -reality tv-.
I can't wait to continue watching even more! It is okay for anyone to have a bad day. The toxic people in the comments are only joining in on the band wagon of negativity. Glad Kara and Nate are enjoying their travels!

So I know this is old but I find the comments toxic. I'm binge watching all your past videos and I like how transparent you guys are about your income and your experiences. I'm sorry that there are some negative people (person? All the accounts seems like they are the same keyboard troll) in the comments who don't appreciate that each person's experience is a culmination of the things they have gone through and their emotions (and it Kara's experience with food poisoning - health) at the time. I, for one, am glad you guys are documenting and posting and I look forward to replicating some of your adventures!

Ethiopian Airlines is actually the best in Africa and Ethiopia is an interesting and historical country to visit. It's too bad the negative experience at the airport is over shadowing the other truly Authentic experience of the country. Especially, the coffee as its the birth place of coffee and the food. It's too bad you were not able to get into cloud 9 lounge to experience the local food. Ethiopian Airlines is currently working on building an airport city with bigger terminals by the Chinese.

Our Ethiopian food is clean and smell good. do you know why you think smell bad you were smelling dogs, frogs and some insects in your country that's why you feel the vegtable smell is bad. Our Ethiopian food is vegtable and normall animals.
we don't eat dogs and frogs and some insects like you ok. Setastselu yack.

I'm surprised by ur comments about the airline and the airport. U guys are traveling cheap what do u expect? and u should also know airports are not hotels rather transit hubs so don't expect much. if u had the money u could of go to the nearest hotel take shower have some rest and come back. when u comment in the future be considerate, understanding and last but not least be thankful.

I think the comments here summed it up best. You two are extremely disrespectful and to call you culturally insensitive would be an understatement. If you wanna do travel blogs while in other people's countries, show some respect instead of picking out the trivial things you don't like about the place. And the fact that you even thought it was okay to do that is disturbing.

Just discovered your vlogs, sorry I'm late to the party, but I have to say that this is the sort of reality I want to see about travelling. Not sugar coated, everything is great, only the best. I want to see the disappointments, the frustrations, the reality that not everything goes as planned and that not everywhere you go is what you thought it would be like.

I am so sad to hear you had food poisoning twice! My stomach is so sensitive. If there-s any chance of a stomach reaction - it always happens to me. Kara you are a trouper to keep going even when you-re sick. Nate you always impress me when I see you taking care of Kara. I love watching your vlog!
