Sintra is a must but not that specific castle. The colourful one and the medieval one for the views and the walk/climb through the national park. Also there is a more scenic train that goes from Lisbon and back. An old school train with wagons nonstop. Look it up. But this gang is so charming and fun. We don-t watch this for the tourist guidance its for vicarious experience the energy the laughs. For those going to Portugal you need to think Beaches, Port wines, piri piri bbq chicken, grilled fish, pottery, cheese, fado music, coffee.

I went to Lisbon two months ago for the day, it was on a whim, 45 min train ride from Lisbon, went to Castelo Dos Mouros, impressive, one of the best views from Sintra, best views is Saint Jorge(not time though, and afterwards went to Da regaleira, for our next trip we'll make sure to stay the night and do Da Pena and Saint Jorge. You guys missed out, we got the tix at the tourist office to Dos Mouros and took the bus there.

Seeing your video makes me regret not stopping there. We passed through Sintra on the way to Cabo da Roca. We wanted to explore the city, but as soon as we got out of the train, all those sellers of trips surrounded by us and were very rude, and there were people everywhere
We quickly escapes the city and went to Cabo and later to Cascais, which we absolutely loved.

At the time I went down that well, there was no such thing as a smartphone, and I didn't have a lighter either. Literally couldn't see a thing, almost fell in the water. good times! It was used in an initiation ceremony by the alchemist and/or masonic cult the guy was running.
Rest of the Quinta is amazing too.

Great Vlog! I would love to visit there sometime, but maybe not that castle (too many steps. Barrett's comments crack me up! Talking about the food -I had a COKE - WOOOOOO! - Then watching him pick up Kayla as they walk so she can stay in the camera frame. Soo sweet! Hope yall are having tons of great family time.

When I was at Table Mtn. in Cape Town back in 2/00, I bought a 2-CD set of music, and one cut was by a Portuguese-S. African coronet player named Luis Moreira, and it was titled -Sintra-. Very pretty song. It also is on another CD called Easy Over, S. Africa. Hope you're able to find it.

Oh nooo you lost the best places in Sintra! :) and lost the best place for lunch too! The best place to eat, is a few meters further down. Typical Portuguese food. Welcome to my hometown. But please come back again, because you haven't seen anything. All the best places are lost.

I just did a Sintra trip yesterday, and came here to compare the experience but this vlog was a bit of a downer. I really like watching your videos but seeing how there was a ton of things you missed I-m worried some of your vlogs might be slightly misleading.
