1) I knew how famous Joes BBQ (formally Oklahoma Joes) was, but forgot people don't always get KC style BBQ and that most people are pleasantly surprised by it.
2) Prairie Dogs? What? I mean I knew they were there, but not really!
3) This one mostly confused me, Dollar General Gas Station?
4) I've never heard of the Chalk Pyramids. Ever!
Thanks for driving through during the most uncomfortable month (July? That's when the mask mandate started) and still having so many great things to say!

If you get a DC-DC charger or battery isolator it would save you a lot of headache, it allows you to charge off the alternator and you-ll never have to worry about going dead again. It charges at an insane speed, it will outdo any amount of solar that you could possibly have, plus it-s constant any time the vehicle is in motion. It-s good to have multiple sources of power and the alternator is a great redundancy to supplement your solar. Look into it, it-s not crazy expensive you-ll just have to add the line and install the charger/isolator.

Over a year on did you guys work out to run a DC - DC battery charger that runs off your cars alternator to charge the van aux batteries as you drive so you dont have to rely on solar or mains power? some better DC-DC chargers also will accept your solar so it will automatically regulate where to draw power from to make sure your batteries are being charged the best from. this wont affect your crank battery at all and they will ensure that the crank battery is the priority so it always chargers first to ensure you can start the van.

Dear Kara and Nate, please please get a proper source of light a. k. a a lamp or flashlight. I noticed Nate has been using his phone light for repairing stuff at night. Although it's convenient, it is better to have a flashlight or a lamp to help you in the dark. Phone lights shld be the very last resort as it depletes your battery and you need your phone for communication in the most emergency of cases. Plus a lamp can be a good source of nightlight in the van too: )

Very wise choice going to Joe's. Z-man is a hard sandwich to describe because cheese and BBQ is an odd combo but it is definitely one of the best sandwiches out there. Also nice shout out to the vastness of driving through Kansas

This is really weird for me. I live in The Netherlands and from top to bottom my country is about 240 Miles (i converted from kilometres. And from left to right it-s about 121 miles.
