Walking on Dubrovnik's ANCIENT CITY WALL!

Walking on Dubrovnik's ANCIENT CITY WALL! Carol: I was there in 2015. I only walked part of the wall but saw no place to pay to be there. I was on a cruise and took a city bus which surprised and impressed the locals who wanted to tell me all about their city. A college student with perfect English got off with me to escort me to the entrance of the walled city. It was raining so hard at the time I couldn't see it! But I waited out the rain in a lovely courtyard until it stopped. The pictures of the war damage were sad; so happy it survived as well as it did. At the top of the wall across the street was a Mexican restaurant which I found amusing at that ancient place.

So I have spent the last week and a half watch every video from the beginning! I absolutely love your vlogs and your world travels! I am living vicariously through you all! I hope that at the end of this year you all may continue your travels, I would be really sad to see the end of your vlogs if you can't travel! Good luck and stay safe!

I have holidayed in dubrovnik all my life amongst other places around the world and now have apartmen there too. It is the one of the most beautiful places in the world but also the most expensive for what it offers especially the service its terrible. Also i have never walked the walls i would not pay the rediculous price.

Dubrovnik is my favorite place on earth (specifically the -beach- against the wall near the port; you can see the sidewalk leading to the beach at 4: 24. Also, I got a hefty discount on my entrance to the wall with my student ID card. I recommend going as early in the day as possible to avoid the cruise ship crowd!

Well, after binge watching these all day, and now it's 2am, I can officially say that I'm wasting my life. but not because I've watched the vids. Rather cuz I'd developed a hellish fear of flying years back on a flight from Taipei to Osaka, and quit traveling. Dang it. Maybe some therapy might be called for.

I actually didn't walk around the wall when I went to Dubrovnik, because I was on an extremely tight budget and it was about 40 degrees C while I was there. Walking around in the burning sun for two hours just did not sound appealing!
Thanks for showing me what I missed: )

Online you can buy day tickets for a lot cheaper, you can go onto the wall and there are a bunch of museums that you can go in with those. Online they are cheaper then there and then I have seen already so we are ordering ours before we leave.

Crazy, I just got back from Croatia and the wall was almost double the cost (250 hrk! A bit above my budget but I-m glad I got to watch this and live vicariously through you guys. It-s inspirational to watch your early vids.
