THE EIFFEL TOWER - WAY Better than we thought! blake: I've been binge watching your blog for awhile and i really enjoy it ( although i like your earlier ones because you were roughing it much more enjoyable ) when i was in Europe we would show up at the train station and just catch whatever train was leavening first, this made for some memorable adventures. My only criticism would be the same as all Americans Take 5 mins to understand there national treasures and don't be so flippant and nonchalant about them. Imagine somebody making light of our National treasures and how that would make you feel. I do realize how unintentional this is but i witnessed it from both sides and i just thought i would point it out. And if you every get to Sacramento CA i have some places you should see. Thanks for the videos and safe travels

I loved the catacombs, thankfully I got to see them my last day. that is so sad they were closed for you. There was a cute lion statue by the catacombs.
I went to the louvre and my mummy-s exhibit is closed on Fridays.
In May 2017 Norte dame cathedral had a bread festival so I was able to buy bread - and then wait in a small 15-20 line it also helped there was 16 of us in our group. I got to go to the second story of the Eiffel Tower.

We are Americans living in the United Kingdom and I must say, nothing beats Paris! The food, the charm, the character, the architecture. simply stunning.
If ever there again definitely recommend going to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Very cheap and you get an amazing view of the Champs plus the most impressive roundabout - around the Arc - I-ve ever seen.

Binging through your videos and I just realized that my family and I were there almost exactly a month before this video was posted. so close! We got to see that same light show as well, we had tickets to go up to the second deck at 11: 30PM. Can't wait to visit Paris again!

probably Nate the next time you are doing your 'research' on the net you could make note of the open and closed days. you who self-advertise about your hours and hours doing 'research'. open and close hours seems to fall into the intro to research area. good job buddy.

You guys need to do your homework before you get to these places. You can also buy the skip the line tkts off of Tripadvisor easily. We were also around the corner from the Notre Dame Cathedral and went to a morning mass there just 6 weeks before it burned.

From this video I learnt that Paris isn't a city that you can visit withou any planning or just to check off from the list. Thanks gives me a lot of joy watching it now in the lockdown -- this is one city I'm really really trying to visit since last 6+ years -

Be diligent Nat and Kara and become France citizens, purchase big apartment in small town nearby Mediterenean and live safe, secure, lively eu life. American citizenship is insurmountable because of sustainable influx of new engineers as immigrants to USA.

this brings back such nice memories, we were there in the early spring of 2005. It was really cold, but there were snow showers mixed in with sunshine from the top of the tower and it was absolutely spectacular! I'll never forget it as long as I live!

I want to go back so badly. I spent 2 weeks in Paris. I stay 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. Every night I went down to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle and get a banana Nutella crepe or a strawberry swirl ice cream. Paris is beautiful.
