Love that you wore German attire for Oktoberfest! Do you contact these places (press pass) before you come, or do they somehow reach out to you? Also, Kara, you are absolutely adorable dressed Bavarian!

I went to the Schottenhamel tent the first day of Oktoberfest in 2018 and it was crazy! Total mad dash to the tent when they started letting people in. Easily one of the coolest experiences of my life!

I attended Oktoberfest 2016 just a couple weeks after you guys. It was extremely hot and sunny the day I went though! Subscribing here as it's the first place you've been that I've also visited: )

Yes! I love Oktoberfest! Here in the states, at least in Dallas, they have no clue how to do it and it is very disappointing after you've been to the real thing. I miss living in Germany so bad!

Ach, I am so jealous. I nearly went to Oktoberfest at the age of 4 with my parents whilst living in France 1959-61, never have been back to Munich. Love the German food, beer, and culture.
