When I was in Ireland, I bussed everywhere. The bus system there is actually really awesome. I went to all kinds of little places, off the beaten track experiences. So if you're intimidated to drive, that's an option.

Typical americans don't experience the night life in Dublin. I find americans very stuffy when it comes to going out and having the craic. Please don't take their opinion of Ireland as gospel as it is not!

As i'm english i have never driven on the right with the steering wheel on the left, and actually i've only ever driven an automatic. so it would feel strange driving in most of the world for me!
