SURVIVING A NIGHT IN AMERICA'S LARGEST SAND DUNES (crazy sand storm) Linda: Not to be mean, but seriously! Are used to think that you both were the bomb. The best. Ahhh not anymore. I am not going to put you at the top. Sorry. You-re pretty stuck up Kara. your videos are so scripted. Why not should be a little more natural show your mistakes show your problems right off the bat not edited. I-m not gonna mention Who I found that is so much more real but I think you might know who I-m talking about if I said one word flying. anyway I still watch your videos and do enjoy them for the most part. again not trying to be mean just saying put a little realism and face forward try not to edit out the mistakes at the end just show them right up front anyway enjoy

I live near the dunes and I have never climbed more than the first tall dune. The weather changes constantly here and we are known for having all 4 seasons on any given spring or fall day.
I hate the cold rinse showers there. I hope you relaxed at the hot springs near by after!

I cant think of anywhere that I would less desire to sleep than there. I HATE the feeling of sand without the ability to wash it off. I wouldnt have worried about a big cat though. They arent as food seeking as a bear and they usually dont desire human contact.

I've been to the Great Sand Dunes. I remember there being an incredible population of sand fleas. Sand fleas bite.
I couldn't enjoy the dunes which is a bummer. Our dog didn't like the sand fleas either. He ran to the car.

my boyfriend and i went out and did this last week and we got rained on so bad we actually did have to leave. i was so dissapointed that we didnt actually get to wake up to a beautiful sunrise in the dunes.

I recently went on a school trip here. I enjoyed it a lot hiking the dunes even though we only went like 2-2. 5 miles. I got to play light-up tag in the dark with 50 other people which was very fun.

I was there this summer. I didn-t get to the top of the tallest dune and it was difficult, but worth every second. I can-t wait to go back and explore more when I have more time to spend there.

I have lived in Colorado almost my whole life (lived about 26 years here) and I have still never been to the Sand Dunes. Need to make a trip before moving to Arizona next year!

Those were cat tracks but not a Mountain lion. mountain lion tracks would be bigger than Nate's hand. though still scary none the less - no wild cat is pleasant
