Spent a few days driving around, shooting and exploring North of Reykjavik in Iceland travel: Like how your cinematic style has evolved. 3yrars ago to now 2020! Totally love a tiny bit of your character, but more scenic shots without dialogue are definitely more enjoyable. I think your best character is depicted through your style of filming and editing. Also the useful info on trip planning and how you chose your hike/destinations and navigating them as conclusion is unique and definitely appreciated. Keep it up!

Few years later, but I hope my 3 cents will help you still. As some other people commenting here, I come from your 'silent' videos, which are IMO good enough in telling the story. But with this particular video, I must say I think it's quite well balanced between 'silent cinematic' and 'funny Kraig doing stuff'. In my opinion, going a bit more towards the 'cinematic' would work better though. I also prefer one longer video that tells the whole story from the beginning to the end, rather than separate smaller videos posted on a daily basis (again, that's just my opinion. Good stuff none the less! By the way, take at least one trekking pole with you when you are planning to hike in such an unstable terrain. It does help when you have a stick you can use to help stabilize yourself.

Simplicity and honesty is one of the best part of your videos. It's actualy cool to see how you evolved over time in all areas and aspects of your filmmaking and in person. The best part is no matter what you simpily step up and make it happen any how. All your content is very inspiring and just can't get off from one to the other non stop; -) keep up the great work. Much love n respect from India.

I don't know how I tripped over this video. It is not listed in your uploads list. I've been watching your videos in reverse-chronological order. This seems to be your earliest work to date. Love your humor sprinkled in. At 62 you are giving me the confidence to step out and see the world. Your cost breakdowns relieve a lot of anxiety that I cannot afford such ventures. Thank you Kraig.

Kraig -- Wow, I can see the turn in your life that are now your silent hiking videos. Watching those silent ones and now watching these others ones, it's like seeing a younger goofier version of you. The new videos -- Such a new, perhaps wiser and more profound version that you are becoming. #evolvution Looking forward to your content! Props fo the dope music in this one, tho!

Wow, the deeper I get into this vid the more I understand why you choose to keep your trap shut on your later vids. To say FU to a native bird and take the time to post and print that just confirms my first impression of you. total travel snob. Yes, you can keep your trap shut all you want on your latest vids but I'm sickened by your attitude. GOODBYE.

Ive any just discovered you and seen your silent videos, but what I love about this is discovering something of you, who are, your character comes through in this vlog which I missed that in your silent videos. I like to know your impressions, thoughts, what is impacting your day how are you experiencing the moment not just doing the moment.

Kraig, your material is fantastic. I've been binging all your videos. The quality is incredible. I like the spunk in this one and the WY to Alaska trip, but I also like the silent trip. It's all incredible and inspiring. Can you share what editing software you use for your videos?

Dude, love your videos. Not going to lie, I would love a series that's just your cinematic shots throughout the video. Kind of like Ben Brown's old series he made. The vlogs are sweet, but I watch just waiting for more cinematic / beautiful color correction. Keep it up!

why on earth do you americans buy water when you can drink tap water? you can drink tap water in the states and you can drink tap water pretty much everywhere in europe. asia is a bit tricky, but europe is safe. why waste money, especially in countries such as island?
