Were they tombs, or were they used as tombs by a later civilisation that found them
Human populations have been destroyed many times in the past through major cataclysmic events which resulted in a loss of infrastructure and a civilisation reset for the survivors.

Mysterious dwellings are where natural constructions blend with human buildings. That might be what we mean when speaking about the unity of man and nature. However, the mirrored cube looks odd and spoils the view.
