Cruising the Galpagos Archipelago - known for its endemic species, and for the historic research done by Charles Darvin. The Galpagos Islands were among the first group of sites added to the World Heritage List in 1978. The human presence is restricted to small number of sites, and the local species almost completely ignore the humans that come close. The sites in the order of appearance in the video: Moreno Point (Punta Moreno) - Isabela island, Urbina Bay - Isabela, Espinoza Point (Punta Espinosa) - Fernandina, Tagus Cove and Darwin Lake - Isabela, Egas Port (Puerto Egas) - Santiago, Espumilla Beach - Santiago, Daphne, Bartolome and the beach on Santiago across the bay from Bartolome, Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido) and the close by beach on San Cristobal. Recorded December 2014 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100.

Trump, Putin, Merkel and all other politicians of the world and the exploitative men of business and power need to look at all your amazing videos to realise what an amazing planet we have and to keep it that way without nuclear war being a constant threat. However if the planet itself (or a foreign object) imposes another natural calamity (as has happened so many times throughout earth history) in the form of powerful volcanoes or another ice age (which is bound to happen while humans are still inhabiting the planet) then so be it. The planet will rebound. Whether humans do is another matter. In the meantime I feel extremely privileged to be on the planet at this time, and to have had the opportunity to have experienced and seen a great deal of it. And your videos are truly outstanding to show the awesome natural beauty of the magnificent geology of this diverse planet. Once again thank you for sharing.
