Once President Bill Clinton asked for a tip about where to go for a short vacation (perhaps Christmas. One of his White House staff members suggested to visit Grand Canyon. After visiting GC, he felt so mesmerized by its sheer, rugged beauty that he said (not verbatim, Every American should feel gifted to have such a natural wonder in their country. I strongly recommend my fellow countrymen to visit it at least once in their lifetime. Long ago, perhaps in 1980, I saw a photographic book on GC at USIS library of Kolkata, India. It contained 90 high quality art plates. I spent nearly an hour flipping thru it, deeply engrossed. I remember, the photographer wrote in the introduction, he spent nearly 20 years visiting GC, on many occasions to capture its various moods and spirit, on different time of the day and season. GC is very close to my heart but I may not able to visit it ever. Thanks to this vdo. I virtually traveled thru its gorgeous gorges. I am fully soaked with its mystic charm.

Wow I'm very impressed with you and your teammates. all of you are brave, have a lot of strength and endurance. Fantastic video. Such a great group of friends. About 19 years ago I and some friends got to camp a couple of days in the grand canyon, if you want to do it there is a long wait after getting your camping permit, at that time we had a whole year to wait to go down but it gave us a whole year to toughen up for the hike and I'm glad I had the endurance to do that 10 mile hike down. We walked around a lot the next day maybe a few miles in each direction, played in the waterfalls and visited the Indian reservation. Then the 10 mile hike back out the next day. It was so beautiful, loved doing it. Great memory. You and your friends have been making some fantastic memories and letting us tag along. Thank you so very much.

Walnut Canyon National Monument (Hopi: Wupatupqa) is a United States National Monument located about 10 mi (16 km) southeast of downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, near Interstate 40. The canyon rim elevation is 6, 690 ft (2, 040 m); the canyon's floor is 350 ft lower. A 0. 9 mi (1. 4 km) long loop trail descends 185 ft (56 m) into the canyon passing 25 cliff dwelling rooms constructed by the Sinagua, a pre-Columbian cultural group that lived in Walnut Canyon from about 1100 to 1250 CE. Other contemporary habitations of the Sinagua people are preserved in the nearby Tuzigoot and Montezuma Castle national monuments. ive been in walnut canyon and inside the rockshelters where native Hopi lived as long ago as 600 AD. very few had holes in the roofs for smoke to leave and few were as tall as 6 feet. & about 10 to 12 feet in diameter.

I took a helicopter ride down the Grand Canyon years ago. No matter how beautiful a video or photos are, they don't do the canyon justice. Because experiencing it is a feeling that's hard to describe. We landed on a plateau and had a picnic lunch. That place is absolutely breathtaking I'm SO glad I did it. Worth every dollar I spent. I would highly recommend it to anyone even just thinking about it.

Red Stone means iron contents in the rocks( you tube films. Chiseled down to open water ways. They did not use fire means they eat food raw. It may have caused digestive obstructions. And alcohol was used as almighty medicines until Herbs were introduced to treat illness. Magotda tribe and Pagesng tribes are still fight in this land: we have to build walls vs. JJalara- Balara- chura-keywara-druhwara.

We boated the Colorado River several different times. We would put our boat in at Parker, and head north to Havasu, and then head north from there all the way to Bullhead City, it was a beautiful experience, we would camp on the shores of the river which were all sandy, build our fire on the sand and cook our food on the fire, those were special times for us and we will never forget them.

You have captured the majesty of the canyon as well as anyone could. The music you used fits very well and I usually write nasty things about the music in nature videos. A trip to always remember through one of the most amazing places on the planet.
