as cuban and more specif Havana city born I can appreciate the beauty of this document however it does nt reflect many very poor and ruined neighborhoods that Havana cty has, the places shown here are mostly touristic that is it. The rest of the city and the country is in ruins, I have to burst lots of ppls bubbles but the reality is quite different for the cuban people in their daily life. this is nice but far from the reality Havna Vieja ( Old Havana) the university PLaza of the Revolution, 13 de Marzo Museum, museum of arts, beaches all withing tourist range and access, most of the country AINT like that but nice to show the good and not the bad and the ugly.

This is the little bit of Havana that tourists see. Very pretty old Colonial buildings built by the Spaniards. Havana is the only oceanfront city in the Western world that has ocean front buildings crumbling into dust -- along the once-beautiful Malecon. Communism destroys, tears down, does not build or improve. The people were cowed for decades, perhaps enjoying a bit more free speech since the Obama trip, but probably not.

Hi I somehow entered into another dimension from my own, still the same planet, Earth, but from another dimension altogether. Anyways, its interesting because in my dimension this island which you call Cuba was actually wrested from the Spaniards very early on and taken control by the English. I'm packing my bags and will be departing as soon as there is a KFC every mile. The pieces are now pigeon size so I will just have an 8-piece bucket for lunch as I tour in a horse drawn cart. Then, I'll toss the bones into the gutter with all the cigarette butts. Later, I'll inhale the rich fumes as a '54 Chevy drives by.

Thanks for the upload. This video has made want to go Havana, I'm sure its got a real downside but the old city is so beautifully preserved even though many of the buildings need attention at least they are still there unlike Rio de Janeiro where the old city was around 50%/60% destroyed in the 50's 60's and 70's.

Oh Lord, please grant me a time-machine; I would LOVE to see these magnificient buildings together with the people to whom they once belonged, combined with elegance and splendor. The world once has been so beautiful and for at least one hundred years it is slowly but steadily going down the drain.

please come to pondicherry, india. here we say french culture is prominent but the buildings here it looks lot like havana. here many heritage buildings are destroyed like mary hall. videos are also not shot properly like you. you are the best videographer.

Thanx for uploading this amazing video. I am cuban and fortunately I was born in Havana. Amazing city full of treasures. But Havana is in ruins today. Havana was so rich before 1959. Every single building was designed with exquisite good taste. I miss you Havana.
