Was the name of the builder of this temple taught to you in school during occupation of a foreign power; as your language and true history got erased? I believe the older the language the greater the esoteric value of it and the more balanced it was with the earth and the gods. Words are powerful and magical in their spoken form but are numbing and neutralised in their written format. For every new word you learn an old word should have a renaissance As above so below It's the only way we can plough forward retaining our past. The foundation perhaps and that depends on your understanding of time. We should endeavour to retain the old ways but welcome the new. Loose touch with the new. Delete delete delete. Know your puppeteers though And cut the strings when change suffocates your senses

In my India, Hindus boasts of this great temple, spreading a false superiority complex. They are ignorant that it was a Buddhist temple. Some Hindu character was added in the 12th century AD after the Sanatans finished Buddhists and Buddhism in India and South East Asia.

Temples built by Hindu ruler suryavarman and his descendants (Khmer Dynasty) and inscriptions are in sankrit, If tamil rulers constructed it, inscriptions would have been written in tamil only, so tamilians should be proud of being Hindu rather than tamilians.
