I am from Dublin Ireland and I am 54 years old. This is beautiful and has me crying. In 1981, when I was 17, in the final year of schooL. I was not studying Art, History or Italian (I was a science nerd, I was very keen on doing this trip. This was the in the recessionary 1980s in Ireland, it was before Ryanair existed and foreign school trips were not the norm. It was expensive in todays terms. To finance the trip to Italy, the day it was announced I walked into Dunnes (a chain store) in North Earl Street and asked if they had any part-time jobs. They took me on. For the next few months after school I worked in Dunnes, North Earl Street, while at the same time studying for the leaving, and saved what I could towards the tour. In the spring of 1982, , the school sadly announced that the tour was cancelled as there were not enough students willing to go on it (I was one of the willing and had signed up. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Eventualy I managed to get to Florence this year in 2018, 37 years after the original plan. I loved it and had been waiting 37 years.

You must be up to a lot of walking and looking up a lot. where are the Restaurant's and what type of food will be offered, like a Menu for the Dumb Tourists and one for the Natives. A person get's an impression in their heads how great it's going to be until you get there and then reality set's in and after you have drug yourself all over the town for hours and taken a lot of pictures the real city start's to tell you your just another dumb tourist and there's nothing here for you/ Food will be very Generic and expensive and the whole damn place is basically boring. But your going to go home and tell everybody you know what a fabulous time you had and great everything was. You'll never go back and wished you had spent all that money on something else.

I was born and raised in Texas (3rd Generation to be exact) and have lived in Central Texas for the past 20 years. Central Texas is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful parts of Texas. But upon returning from a multi-city vacation across Italy; I realized the exact meaning of beautiful. Italy is so rich with history, so ornate in architectural design and so breathtakingly beautiful, I was left awe-inspired and kind of ruined for the land I call my home. I am grateful for all I have and always will be, but my eyes have definitely been opened and my views forever changed after visiting Italy. The Italians truly have a gift.

Thanks for all the wonderful videos. It's so great to find stuff like this on youtube. One tip On a big screen your account image (of that face) is terrible. It looks ok on a tiny computer screen, but on the playstation app the image is blown up and placed in the centre of the screen. To me it looks, [edit]-if I had to describe it, kinda haughty. Which is fine, but after a nice 4k video filled with beautiful locations, it looks, yeeahh, I know I'm the shiznit lol, thanks again. =)

This is a beautiful video. My son studied in Florence this summer. We took some time to appreciate the Renaissance masterpieces at the many museums. Made me reflect on these amazing creations. Although weve progressed in the sciences and technology, we have unfortunately not done so in the arts. Experiencing this moment in history is good for the soul.

I just got back from Florence and this video captures all of it's beauty perfectly. I wished I would have known that I would have enjoyed it much more than Rome and spent more time there. It is definitely a place that I will revisit.

Florence is amazing. When you study at a good college of western music, you are often hit with some of the energy you get from a visit to places like this; very classical, as if by magic. Western music is called classical, indeed.

When I compare the stunning beauty and quality of Florentine art dating from the Renaissance and the Baroque to the state of culture and art today, it makes me sad for Western Civilization. How far we have fallen.
