The desert city of Jaisalmer, called The Golden City because of the color of the sandstone used for its buildings and the fort. The Jaisalmer Fort was built in the 12th century, with Royal Palace, Jain temples, and residential buildings inhabited even now, it is one of the six forts included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hill Forts of Rajasthan. The sandstone used for many houses and temples in Jaisalmer is intricately carved. Recorded January 2018 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX100 and a6300.

Once again Milosh, another masterpiece of awesome video complimented by perfect soulful Indian music. This place has been a bucket list of mine for many years now as well as many other places in Rajastan. I don't know if I will ever make it now as age and lack of finances keep priorities elsewhere but at least I can enjoy it through your eyes. Thanks for posting.

Again a masterpiece. The music chosen is excellent. The Glory and Tragedy of the past brought into the recent memory. The seats of authority and the structures of Self defence is simply and eloquently brought into the viewers emotions by the excellent video and the background music.

My Rajasthan, there are many many forts in Rajasthan on Mountains, u can find minor forts every 5-10 km on hills. I love to visit them especially those that are not so famous so that i can observe it well. How our kings lived how our people lived.

Was there in early Jan 1974. Stayed in a dharamshala for 2 rupees a night (slept on charpois. That was the only accommodation available as far as we could ascertain. Took 11 hrs by steam train from Jodhpur. It was an unreal experience.

Now most of these forts are owned by private persons, corporates, and business tycons. actually the central government should preserve these as valuable historical monuments. most of the forts are destroyed by non maintenance
