yeahhhh You mentioned Porto thank you very much This is a biased comment because I'm Portuguese. Nevertheless Porto is half the size of Lisbon ( where I was born raised and live nearby at Oeiras) I love this city. And Knowing some of Europe's most popular cities like Madrid Barcelona, Sevilla, Bilbao, La Coruna, Vigo, Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Genova, Milano, Rome, Napoles, Innsbruck, Zurich, Geneva, London Manchester, Birmingham, Amsterdam, Gent, Munich and hamburg I still think this is the most interesting city I went because the people or not exaggerating, all the population are friendly and always there to help and support you with no strings attached and even a stranger asks if you have a place to Stay and if you need to have a meal with them in their own home and when you leave they ask you if you need a place to eat the next day its marvellous and I love them congrats from Oeiras, Lisboa. Peace

Most of this cities are well known. A top like this one should be full of cities we don't even know. In France, albi surprised me, although it's pretty famous in the area. Budapest is well known, although spectacular. Bucharest is a good Pic, Innsbruck is quite known but underestimated, as Gothenburg (but come on it has Stockholm to compete with, it makes sense. I've herd Ljubljana is pretty but that's all, in fact it's overestimated. Many cities in Emilia Romana are utterly underestimated, at least for what I've heard. Gdansk is beautiful as its wrosclaw and Krakow, although they're all the principal attractions of Poland. If you consider Georgia a part of Europe the whole country is underestimated as I think are Switzerland and iceland or Albania or Macedonia (well almost no one knows Macedonia. The point is, this top mostly sucks.

Guys sorry but as a feedback I think this feels a bit random: some of these places are quite touristy and there are many other hidden gems that are more beautiful and more underrated. Just in Italy there are tons: Bergamo, Bologna, Orvieto, Mantova, Trieste, Lucca and I could go on forever (Google them and check them out ) but also in the rest of Europe, maybe for the next time / video Very much agree with Innsbruck and Ghent though: )

for everyone who likes to get away from tourists, go to Montenegro, i have seen every city in Croatia and Montenegro is almost the same but less touristic, i would recommend Kotor for a day trip and Perast for a stop when doing a road trip. Montenegro also has the most beautiful national parks when traveling more up north Other i would also recommend bosnia hercegovina. Cities as Mostar and Sarajevo are extremely underrated

Glasgow. Great museums, art galleries (many of them free, shopping, restaurants, architecture, a great live music scene and some of the friendliest natives you'll find. No doubt some smart arse will be along in a minute to say neds, buckfast and deep fried haggis etc etc etc (boring) but that misses so much of what is, a very underrated and cultured city.

Just Ghent, Innsbruck and Cork can be underrated. The other ones every person with average knowledge knows them very well because are famous citys. Some are even capital citys of famous countrys like Budapest. Others like Porto for exemple even have more tourists than inhabitants. There are more than 100 really underrated touristic citys all over Europe.

Helsinki is pretty boring in my opinion, Tampere on the other hand is much more interesting and isn't crowded, Helsinki is very, very overrated. Besides it's full of elitist and smug people, I dislike it, besides it doesn't have that many historical attractions. If you want more interesting cities, visit Stockholm, Oslo, Vilnius, Riga or Tallinn

Are you kidding me? None of these cities is underrated. Some of them may not be nr. 1 tourist destinations but yet are famous for their beauty. The most irrelevant in this video, is the presentation of Budapest, one of the main tourist destinations of the world, as an. underrated city Overrated would sound less bazaar.

this is tailored to English Speakers. Just do not pick the popular names or cities that have a blend of culture/border cities each part of Europe that you want to go? Nothing in the Balkans? Seville, Edinburgh, Trieste/Napoli, Berlin, Bucharest, Lviv, Talinn, Bratislava, Split, Vilnius
