I don't think I could have come up with a better list. I've done some of these: 8, 4, 2 and part of 1. I hope to see the rest. Also want to spend some time in Utah. Did a rush vacation there while my husband was still working. Retired now and would like to go back and take our time. The best vacations are what I nicknamed wild hair days. Just hit the road and see where the road takes you. My kids and grandkids never know where NaNa and Papa are going to call from next Well, until Papa got sick but he's better now and NaNa is back planning road trips. Hoping to do Montana and Wyoming this coming summer - maybe stay gone a little longer and check Idaho, Washington and Oregon off the list. Thank you for this video and the great suggestions. Everyone is commenting on what should have been listed. You do know you can make your own YouTube video and put what you like as a beautiful road. It's not mandatory for this person to list what y'all think is a beautiful scenic route on a video that they created. This video is based upon their opinion. But here's a fact. Update the pictures. When you mentioned Route 66 and showed the cars stacked on top of of one another that is no longer there. It used to be in the southwest side of Chicago on cermak and Cicero. It was a landmark hear. I don't know why they took it down, gentrifying the whole damn city taking away oldies but goodies if Chicago history. Any point is you won't see those stacked cars. You can see it in the movie Wayne's world

The HWY 101 aka pacific HWY I drove that road more than 20 timesand never stopped to camp or anything always just thought it was a normal road. I grew up in Washington and moved to California when I got older. I have family in California and in Washington and we would drive back and forth on this HWY, we took this HWY every time, so not only is it a scenic HWY but it also holds a lot of memories from my childhood. This HWY is always gonna remain #1 cause it brings you through the sunny coast of California the rugged coast of Oregon and the forested land of Washington. Never knew I grew up on such blessed land. The pacific coast is the place to be.

I've done most these drives, I think they missed the top 3 in North America. 1. Hwy 93 - Lake Louise to Jasper2. Sunshine Coast Hwy - Gibsons to Earls Cove3. Hwy 17 - Thunder Bay to Terrace BayAlso worth mentioning is the Hana Hwy on the north shore of Maui. It's not in my top 5 but it should be above a lot of the drives on this list. I would put some canyon roads just north of LA or some more coastal routes on Vancouver Island ahead of 3 or 4 drives on this list for sure.

The drive to Key West is probably the most overhyped and overrated drive ever. Theres small stretches along the drive that are great but its mostly on land(i. e on the keys and you dont really feel like you're over sea. There are equally amazing other bridges around Florida. Plus the speed limit is like 45 mph and if you're stuck behind a slow driver, you're rolling your car in at 35 to 40 mph, spending almost 4 hours just to get there.

You cannot argue with PCH at the top, honestly. I have driven through 4 of these so far, with #10 really being the one I want to do the most next, but there is nothing else in the world that even comes close to PCH. Colorado would actually be my pick for second place, especially if you are driving in the early winter, with a little bit of snow falling to make it magical while not too dangerous either.

Have done 8 of these listed, 5 of them within the last year alone. Nothing better than a good road trip. One of the images shown for the Million Dollar Hwy was actually a classic shot of Scenic Byway 12 in Utah, which also should have been on this list in its own spot. Did that one last year as well. I think one of the amazing remote routes through Alaska should have made this list as well.

Sigh. Oh My God road still has active mines along it. You wold not try using an RV on it. From I-70 to the gambling towns of Black Hawk and Central City, you did another form of gambling that makes other gambling a piece of cake. In just another scenic drive, the RMNP and Estes Park with the famous Stanley Hotel exists. That hotel inspired Here's Johnny. I dare many to book those rooms.

I question everything
Ive been to the keys and I thought that was pretty cool. Its 100 miles south of Miami and Key West has a totally different feel. You feel like you left the United States. At night you can't see anything and its super quiet because theres no malls and stuff. Plus there were millions of stars in the sky. This is how the Earth was millions of years ago.
