This is a messy video. You can't list cities and then give the first place to a region. While there is so much to enjoy in the south of France, Avignon is historically the most important - Western Europe was ruled - more or less - from Avignon when the popes reside there for nearly 100 years. Also today, the Avignon Theater Summer Festival is the most important in continental Europe - and the model for the festival in Edinburgh.

Checkup all the Unesco World Heritage list for this area. Only Carcassonne and Avignon are from this list. Checkup also for: Episcopal city of Albi, Arles (Roman and Romanesque Monuments + Camargue and Parc Ornithologique du Pont de Gau, Pont du Gard (Roman Aqueduct, Saint-Emilion, Lion.

This is superficial. Just naming the most famous places. What about Aigues-Mortes and the fab Camargue. One the best fauna spots. Nimes with the famous aquaduct. This is just silly. No, I will not follow this. Sorry.
