FLYING TO A COUNTRY I CAN'T ENTER: Korean Air Business Class
video description
There was two choices of food, described as 'beef and seafood' and no wine selection besides red/white. I don't want to sound like a pampered brat but Singapore Airlines was available at the time of booking - and I wish I had gone with them. Everything was serviced on (or in) plastic (nothing like how you presented here) and the food was, by no word of hyperbole - god awful. The wine was poured from a single bottle and tasted like it had been opened some time ago, or was just particularly acidic.
While I understand some alterations have been made by airlines to ensure safety is kept in check, I think some companies and airlines and using Coronavirus as an excuse to reduce service levels and provision as a cost cutting measure - which I don't necessarily argue with. However, I would like an idea of that exact reduced service before I commit to paying an inflated ticket price.

I was going to Japan with Delta Airline but missed my flight due to unfortunate event. Since they are partner they sent me to Korean airline, beside being 5 hours late, Korean airline was amazing! Even in economy/comfort class food was good, comfy, a bit hot in the plane to be honest but Koreans seemed to be comfortable. I was in a country where temperature was -30 Celsius when I left so 23-25 Celsius in the plane was hot! Flight arrived late and we got stuck in Korea, they don't fly after midnight. We were offered a 5 star hotel with breakfeast, too bad the flight the next flight was at 5 AM so couldn't enjoy that food. In Korea and Japan, you can't enter the country unless you willingly give your finger prints, facial picture, height weight etc, living address, temporary living address in their country and a visa stamp on your passport. Don't overstay their tourist Visa if you ever want to go back there.

What's been your experience with turbulence? My stepfather was a government aircraft inspector. He was always very critical of commercial and private aircraft. In his opinion there's little or no excuse for it. From my first flight I've experienced it probably on 75% of my trips. Some bad and mostly unnoticeable unless you were feeling to see if the flight was smooth. Key word smooth. In Dad's opinion they should almost always be smooth. He said there's always the possibility of a freak occurrence but in reality if the aircraft is flown correctly and maintained there should be none. He said the engineering of commercial jets is so impressive you should feel like you're floating at all times.

I have to disagree with you that safety video looks good to me incorporating Korean music cultures into the safety video is a pretty smart move have you seen the ANA safety video or airfrance both are pretty decent unlike the ugly and boring British Airways, lufthansa KLM and almost all American carriers lmao

I flew into China on China Eastern Airlines in business class and it was absolutely fantastic then I have flown Hainan from Beijing to Dublin in economy and it was absolutely horrendous, I think any flight in business class is going to be beautiful, you should always show both sides

I always fly Korean Air when I go to Korea and I have to agree with the sentiment about the safety video. Its a safety video. not a kpop show case. Dont freakin sing and dance to me and just tell me the steps to jump off the plane from 30, 000 feet. Seriously just annoying asf.

Honestly it looks like you are confined in that space it looks incredibly small, even when you are using your privacy partition it was like you were contorting yourself to do that, I didn't like it at all for a business class, I wonder why you did. Surprising.

Noel Phillips. A domestic flight that was be taken always takes a long way around is from London City to Humberside Airport via Amsterdam! Goes completely in the wrong direction before double backing on itself for a short 3 hr all in flight.

you can enter Korea you just have to quarantine at a government designated hotel for quarantine in Korea unless you have linear family members that live in Korea you can quarantine at their place.

Hi there, I like your video. Can I ask you a question. Did book for their business class directly or booked economy and then upgraded at the gate? I have never flown in business class ever.

Hilarious you flew in there without planning on actually going in. Using my own rules, you did not actually visit South Korea, or Seoul, because you never left the airport. LOL

Was in Seoul in 2017 and twice in 2018. Made the mistake of going there in Jan 2018, BA left my luggage behind in London, and the temperature was minus 11 when I arrived in Seoul.

I have been Korean Air a total of 6 times. Since 2011. Only had one bad meal. Other all the meals were outdtanding. This goes for cabin crews as well. Very professional staff.

I had the pleasure of flying on a Korean Air A330 from Singapore to Seoul back in 2018. I can't wait to fly on one of them again in the near future!

So you are saying that Lufthansa could learn from Korean Air?
I think, partly, people pay extra for the business class seats for the privacy.

One problem with the seat Is that you cant get out with the tray table out. But that is a fair trade off for not having to climb over people.

The nurses who greeted me in the OR when i was having my heart surgery weren't outfitted as frighteningly as were those stewardesses.
