Noel my Brada, you just confirmed what I've always said when it comes to skydiving. Why jump out of a perfectly flying machine/plane and put your life on the line on an oversized bed sheet with some strings. LOL. The best part is when your wife asked what was enjoyable about it. when I drove away from the airport. That was hilarious. laughed my head off. Good for you for doing it though. Always enjoy your reviews and adventures.

Hey dude, I had the same reaction on my tandem jump, I also skipped breakfast. It's adrenaline + no food, I almost blacked out, it was like 40 Celcius, I was in Australia then.
But year ago I went for AFF (training to become solo skydiver, I ate breakfast and now I can't imagine my life without skydiving! I have 79 jumps in the moment I'm writing this and I've never been happier in my life! This is ultimate freedom!

Noel, you are completely bonkers doing that but 100% quodos for going through with it. I was almost crying with laughter when you jumped out absolutely petrified. I see you changed your trousers afterwards lol! Brilliant for being able to laugh at yourself and being such a good sport. Loved the video, flippin' (or flappin') well done! (I'm never, ever, no never going to be doing that, ever)

Im 73 and my husband 79. We skydived over Uluru, and it was a fantastic experience. We enjoyed every minute, including the opportunity to handle the controls ourselves. Best thing Ive ever done ( apart from piloting my own hot air balloon, and without question would do it again. Just remember next time to shut ones mouth on exiting the plane.

I went to Headcorn some years ago to watch some colleagues do a parachute jump (static line, not free fall) in aid of Benenden Hospital. One of them summed it up: Yes, Id do it again, but only if my life depended on it. I administered suitable medication at a local hostelry before putting them on their train back to London.

i was terrified watching, never mind being in your shoes. I am going to Portimao this summer and i'm sticking with the beach. Amazing video to watch Noel, i hope you had some great Sardinhas assadas on this trip since it was August. I can't wait to get back to the Algarve this summer!

The moment I left the plane is a moment I will never better to comprehend or understand. My body just shut down and I forgot I had someone with me. I was separated from life. It did everything I wanted it to do which was scare me out of depression but I will never do it again.

Beeing a tandemmaster myself with 1000 tandemjumps i can say that the passenger-harness was not put on properly. The gap between shoulder and harness was way to big, which made it also extremely hard to get the legs up for the landing, since you hang to low.

I did that for my 50th. I had a panic attack on the way up, which Ive never had before or since, and hated every minute. I just wanted to be on solid ground. But I lost my vertigo afterwards.

I was terrified before my tandem but absolutely loved it. Ended up getting certified and have done 90+ jumps. I don't jump anymore but I'm glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Blue skies

I'm the opposite to you - I never wanted to do it, but I have been skydiving once. I would have done it again straight away, but the further in time I get from it the less I want to do it again.
