Flew years ago with Merpati from Bali to Surabaya and on the return the previous flight was cancelled so they combined two flights but had printed seat numbers to the same people, so just told those coming on if their seat was taken to sit anywhere. A young girl came on and there was no seat for her so she sat behind the pilots. I was jealous.

Flew with NAM to Komodo back in 2017. I didnt mind them at all. Even got a sandwich. Better than Wings Air (Lion Air group) ATR72 from Manado to Sorong in 2014 where the pilots smoked the whole way after a 8 hour delay leading to a 3. 30 am flight. Indo flying will always be Indo flying - thats the charm of the place.

well, NAM Air is in struggling mode in business term. definitely, embarrassing to see how the service for Business class went like that. thank you for the review Noel, I wish the NAM air saw this video as well to improve the services, especially the cabin crew. keep posted the inspiring vidios. stay safe up there!

Noel, you probably know that these rouge airlines are of questionable character. is's sort of riding on a ferris wheel with some of the hardware missing, You would think that NAM would teach their crews to be much more attentive to their customers in order to promote others to want to fly them.

Most of the trim in that 737 -- the overhead consoles, the stickers in the lavatory, etc. -- is exactly as it was in the not-quite-annual SEA-BOS trips my family would take on Northwest or Continental ca. 1997-2003 to visit our New England relatives. To me that's just what airplanes look like

Flew in Garuda Airlines once from Bali to Surabaya. That was the most scariest 45 mins of my life. The plane dipped to land and then he took off again. ( Wrong Island) and then a hard three bounce landing on a commercial aircraft. . Vowed to take a boat or travel by land rather than fly Garuda.

They did not rope off the tarmac area once you exit the plane which seems extremely lazy and risky but I am still shocked by the business class meal of a cheap biscuit and water, what the hell did the coach passengers get?

Back in 2018 Im flying with Nam twice to Maumere and Kupang and its great 2 hour flying, and we get snack (a bread and water, something that cheap flight never gave. I think they are down in quality nowadays

Apart from Garuda I wouldnt dare fly any other Indonesian airlines, I wouldnt be surprised if the poor/ non existent service you got on board is similar to the service the old aircraft gets

I liked that gentleman at the end that wanted a selfie with you! He was nice. :) After a flight like that though, ANYTHING is nicer than that flight! LOL! That hotel room is BEAUTIFUL!

And I thought Lion Air was the worst. I flew that airline and I felt like I was in a flying tin can. Wobbly seats, broken armrests and dirty cabin floor. I was also scared for my life!

Stick with Garuda or Citilink. Personally i found AirAsia is reliable, good food and includes good baggage fees (free 15kg checked for domestic flights within indonesia i believe.
