Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide Focusing on Switzerland's often-overlooked urban charms, we explore lakeside Luzern, cobbled Bern, spire-filled Zrich, and sophisticated Lausanne. Well enjoy eye-opening art, from Chagall and Klee to the works of asylum inmates. Well ring a very big bell high up in a church spire, float down a rushing river, and ponder Switzerland's pragmatic drug policies and hidden underground arsenals. And it's all before a backdrop of stunning natural beauty. 2008 Rick Steves' Europe

Chagall and Klee are garbage. This will be universally accepted in the comin age. They will be totally forgotten. It is a disgrace for the Swiss folks to allow themselves to be ruled by such folks who would not destroy the garbage while it is in their hands. It is a tarnish on Rick's reputation that I had to be-keyen these sayins instead of his sayin them.

Lol, ns propaganda there. The bunkers are also for the US, in case the nuclear war broke out. Swiss is neutral. Interestingly, US actually caused the most damage to the Swiss in WWII because of the bombing. Some say it's poor navigation, and the others say it's because the US wanted to force the Swiss to join their side.

We need some new iconoclasts to destroy and purge all that cringe modern art. In theory, it sounds great to have untrained, untethered art not made by those sullied by convention. Yet look at what they do with their unrestrained minds. They make embarrassing nothingness that just makes you feel terrible to behold.

Hello Rick, I do love and appreciate your travel Guide shows. I get to learn so much and get inspired. I just wanted to ask you to please consider doing a video on Ethiopia. There is so much to see and learn from. Plus its a way to promote to Ethiopia to the world.

Switzerland is the nearest thing to heaven on earth. If any country could be near perfect Switzerland is the one. Ive been all over the country, on the lakes, cities, mountains and rivers and I can say its a delightful paradise but very very expensive

Nice and interesting video. They somehow forgot about Geneva, another very important Swiss city. Maybe it has it's own video? If so, I haven't found it yet.

Rick, you talk about pronunciation. The city is not called Laussane but Lauzane! Please get your research right (happy to help): -)

Excellent writers. still the very best in travel videos. The rest are nothing but subliminal, propaganda and ideological junk.
