The memorial to the murdered jews is a gigantic thing. Worth spending some time to ponder there. Although I found the feel of the place was spoiled just a little bit by all the fast food joints right next to it. Modern life in a big city I suppose. Will never forget my few days in this amazing city.

Where is the memorial to the many millions of innocent Germans who were slaughtered by the Allies after the surrender of May 8 1945? To whatever extent the Germans caused suffering to others it pales in comparison to the terror the Germans were subjected to at the wars end and the years after.

Why does Germany have to have shame rammed down their necks constantly. When will it end. Im not saying you cant have a memorial but in the capital of Germany. Why when Japan, us brits, the USA, Russia, Israel for bombing hospitals and schools dont they all have shame monuments in the capitals?
