I have been watching your videos and I absolutely loved but so sad that you describe the attempt of conquer by Ottoman Empire as a Turkish pirates. In Turkish history, there is not any formation of Pirates community, especially in Ottoman Empire, maritime and sailing was not that evolved however soldiers and wars were managing by land-based. British are the first society who supported and basically structured the pirates. In Turkish History, sea-wars were low and financing by government so there is not any independent foundation of pirates.

The singing flower seller should stick to selling flowers, lol! Nice voice, but so off-key! I love Italy! Sadly, right now it's too deadly to visit: '( I rcvd as my birthday gift from my son this year, a holiday in Italy. Just before we could leave, the virus hit. we still shudder to think that we might have been stuck there, or worse, we might have helped spread the virus into our country! Well, when this nightmare is long gone, we will still do the Italian holiday. Can't wait!

I went there back in 2105. Cant wait until the next time I go back. Took the hike for all 5 villages and the boat ride back to the last village of Monterosso. The boat stops at all 5 villages. Stayed at the Monterosso Hotel high up on the cliff top last stop for the boat ride. Awesome views from my room that looked out over the sea. Brings back fond memories of my trip. Thank you for posting this video.

With Covid-19 in its sixth month, and most not able to travel, it was a breath of Italian sea air to view Rick in Italy's Riviera: Cinque Terre. At 70, I hope my wife and I can walk the five cities on a future trip to coastal Italy. Thank you Rick Steves!
