I've visited the Dolomites three times by motorcycle and hope to return. The region is one of the most beautiful in Europe and has some of the best food I've ever had. If you didn't know you were in Italy you'd swear you were in Austria, it's strange but I think that's the magic of it.

46% of Dolomiti are situated in Belluno (Veneto, 17% Friuli, 12% a Trento. Here nobody talks German and is of Austria cultural. Only 24% of Dolomiti are in Bolzano and only here talk German. There is still a lot of misinformation.

Was there in January 2020. I thought I could cross skiing in the alps out of my bucket list after I went up from Cortina. Then I drove back through Val Gardena and. my bucket list grew.
