Restoring a well used rusty bushcraft knife which cost me 15. It's an old knife I've had years and it rusted when I used it down by the sea. The knife is made of high carbon steel, which when exposed to salt water, rusts very quickly. I restore the knife to it's former glory mostly by hand sanding and polishing. Jerry: As you suggested in your previous video, there is a reason that Sea Shore and Stainless Steel all start with the letter S. For non-saltwater camping and bush crafting, carbon steel is the best, in my view. And Morakniv knives are a great value for the money -- at all price points. Date: 2020-06-16
