To beat a horse with a whip is abuse however to use a whip correctly you do not injure a horse. Many people tie plastic bags on the whips which makes it 10 times worse as they are terrified of it. People who whip horses that spook is not right people who whip horses for racing is not right. Horses if looked after live longer in work and I joy it if cared for correctly. Occasionally yes you might need to tap a horse with a whip as they are a 1400 pound animal and can kill you in a second. However you would only do so if the horse isn't listening if they are in a shitty mood and just wants to stand still. The only time a whip is ok to be used with a young horse is to lunge at age of 4 or older. This whip should not scare or touch the yearling. Instead is just used to help direct the horse. The horse could bolt and drag you across the arena because they heard something yet they will not be touched with a whip. They will be calmed down and reassured that it's not a monster and lunged again untill they are settled for 1 circle and end of lesson. Horses can be abused with whips however most whips are designed to make noise and not hurt the horse, this will help the horse to focus if you voice is not working. Correct riders use their body and voice commands more then reins and leg. This is different then these elephants who are tied up at such a young age they give up escaping as they do not think there strong enough. They have scare upon scare get bashed if they are scared of to smart or to adventuress and even if they try to hard. To the point they are just depressed. My number one rule with horses is that it's the people that cause the problems so if a horse is kicking you don't beat them with a stick or whip, however you praise them when they do the right thing and do everything overly nice and careful until they realise they get treats if they are good and no one is their to hurt them, their girths aren't done up tightly all in one go

if you look at what the guy has in his hand that Is a tool called a billhook and what those horrible people did was hit it on sensitive places so then it breaks its will and so the training begins. its so scared of that billhook that even when it could kill them they wont. the baby wants so much love because its getting hit and probably even whipped to break its will. and that's why they took the elephants away. just saying, but not advising it, if you want to break it free all you need is that billhook and probably some instruction online on how to use it. happy to see then loved and fed, angry to know all this information. (sigh)

Animal cruelty man they just use the animals for amusement but it's really not behind everything those animals are abused and treated like garbage those people just use them for money and hit them constantly and tourists are actually supporting it cause they pay the people who are abusing them just for pictures and all those little things. I understand what TFIL is trying to do. There at least feeding them and showing them love. Because who knows when are those elephants are gonna feel like that again. But I feel bad for the baby and the mama's near future

the only thing they really said that i don't like is about breaking horses i used to ride horses and my sister still dose and when you break a horse you don't whip them you get them used to a saddle and slowly put weight on it. they do carry what are called whips but if you use them correctly it should only be a pat to get the horses attention but should never hurt the horse and the long once only make a loud noise or pat the horse but should not ever hurt the horse and if ti dose you are doing it wrong and should not be near horses.

Heyyy, how these people care for the elephants is nothing like how horse regulations and abuse laws are in the US. We have so many laws to keep our animals safe, many banning old inhuman practices of training (like soring) and we often look for horses who have fun doing whatever jobs they're doing. Same with dogs. Elephants don't deserve the treatment they're getting here at all. Thank you for loving them while you guys could

Its horibble that people treat these beautiful and intelligent animals like an object. Elephants are one of the most beautiful creatures on this planet and people treat them with no respect. Elephants should be loved, cherished, and left alone. Not put outside resteraunts for attention. Elephants are complex creatures with intelligence and emotion. They should never be treated like something that you can use once and throw away.

8: 41 You don't have to whip horses to break them / train them. Just like you don't have to be cruel to animals to own them. There are right ways of doing things. Those people are doing it the wrong way. But saying you have to whip horses to break them is judging every horses experience off of a stereotype. Just like saying every elephant in captivity is abused and tortured and treated wrong.

Oh my god I hate animal abuse whenever I see or hear about it I wanna punch someone in the face and it's like one of the worst things ever like in some places they bring animals on the street and hurt them until someone pays for them and begs them and then themselves get beaten up. It's just terrible. I hate it. What did they ever do to you They're just animals. MAKE IT STOP

This video just made me emotional. I started to tear up even. just knowing how the elephants are treated. and then seeing the dogs. I don't have my dog right now. then i started to think about how sad he is because he is so used to me being around. the girl that is taking care of him said that he looked sad. I miss him and I can't wait to get him back

support IFAW to help the elephants, they work on programs and trying to change laws. wwf support hunting of unendangered animals still. which I also don't disagree with so long as you eat it and use the skin to keep you warm, not really needed in this day and age. PETA are just psychos, stay away from them.
