Read my trip report of this flight here: Pesto Patagonia: Delish for the Eyes. 1st Luxury Expert Vid in some weeks due to stresses at home But watching your Vids is just so enjoyable and is like a mini-vacation in itself. So thank you very much. Some thoughts: 1) Am I the only one who actually liked the design of those Lufthansa lounges? I get they're a bit crammed, but unlike Asia-located lounges, the EU just doesn't seem to have the space to spread out. I liked the black, white, metal and stark contrast. Minimalism, sometimes less is more? 2) Did you like your Meals? In previous Videos you often gave commentary on the food, but this time you didn't say anything? I was surprised they did a Fried Halibut. seems a bit cheap and was curious if it was actually good. 3) LOVED the ending shots of the Maldives' islands coming into view on the water. Gorgeous. Sooo want to go

You are right, the lounge isnt very appealing. I visited this lounge on my way to JFK and the only plus is, that you can board the aircraft directly from the lounge. I found the seats quiet comfortable and I enjoyed it. I didnt sleep on both flights, because the flight time was just too short. I agree with you that the 2-2-2 config is a downer. It simply lacks of privacy. As LH will launch its new Business Class in 2020 starting with the 777-X9, I do hope they will retrofit at least our Flagships, the A350 and A 380 as well as the 747-8. unfortunately I dont know yet. Our company keeps it as a secret for the time being.

On most aircraft, light switches are integrated. Strobes might go with the rotating beacon, for example, two things that you should always have on, day or night after engine start. Landing lights go on after the taxi lights and recognition lights are turned off as part of the pre- take-off checks: Flaps - Check, Landing lights - on. After take-off, systems to deactivate: Breaks, undercarriage - up, fuel, flaps - up, Landing lights - off. After take-offs complete. Sometimes, the flight rules for that area might require you to keep your landing lights on throughout the whole sector for safety purposes.

You know, whether a lounge is pretty or not doesn't matter for me. Is it close enough to the departure gate that I don't collapse in sobs from exhaustion and pain while I'm still only half way there? This can and does happen at Toronto Union Train Station. Is there a decent handicapped bathroom? Can I get a cup of tea and a place to sit? Can I find the screen showing the departure times? I am usually such a mess from anxiety, pain and exhaustion that the VIA conductors get me preboarded, even though I travel economy and preboarding is for first class passengers. Is the lounge attractive? HA

When the aircraft becomes a moving piece ( pushback and/ or engines roll and so on) its turned on the beacon light (red light, on the fusalage)and navigation is already on (tip of wings, and or the back, white)red in the left, green in the right)then taxi lights, When you receive the line up or cleared for take off you turn on the landing and stroble. The light over the turbine is not the ( landing lights. Turned on in every night climb to observe any failure on the engines during the climbing. The landing and inspection( turbines) lights are turned off when the plane reaches 10. 000 feet.

I really like your new style of videos in which everything feels like I'm travelling on your shoulder. The music is peaceful. It's sets the right mood and I truly enjoy watching the entire video. The fact that you don't speak anymore makes the video feel like I'm experiencing this firsthand. You managed to outdone all the other flight and travel bloggers I follow. The flight video back from Maldives to the airport is perfect. Perfect destination, perfect video and perfect editing. I now can't wait for your next posts: )

I think the center seats are maybe better for solo travelers because they all have direct aisle access. You don't have to clamber over strangers to leave your seat, or have them clamber over you. I know there's a lot of legroom, but that won't help if the seat is reclined or flat. I don't see why they angle the center seats toward each other and the single footrest is unfortunate, but there is a divider so you don''t have to play footsy with your neighbor.

Usually the travel experts should know the usual take-off procedures for aircraft which indicate that strobe lights must always be switched on (any weather, any season, any time of the day) upon approaching the runway during taxiing in the departure airport for take-off (i. e. after receiving take-off clearance) and must be kept on until landing and taxiing clear off the runway in the destination airport. Uncle Google says first learn then post

Strobes are turned on from the moment an aircraft turns it engines on to the moment it turns the engines off (they are also an indication to the ground staff not to approach the aircraft, Night and day actually. They are less (or not at all) visible from the cabin on certain type of aircraft. Most of the time the flashing is visible from the cabin only when only reflecting on the ground or in the clouds.

Hey LTE Your videos inspired me to take a business class trip of my own and so last fall I finally flew Business class with Etihad from Vietnam to London One way of course; ) Of course it was expensive but you know what, it was a wonderful thing to experience. Even my family remarked how fresh I looked on landing considering it was 28 hours door to door. Thank you for these amazingly soothing videos
