A little overrated for me.
In magazines it looks cool to have a hotel over the water.
But in practicality it would disturb me all night if I keep hearing the sound of water moving and splashing up against and up under the hotel unit i am in.
Also if something major went wrong you can't get off the island fast enough and where would you go in case a serious emergency?

Thank you for the amazing video, but I have got two questions:
1- Can I ask for halal meat and chicken while booking?
2- Can I get my meals in the villa when I prefer to rest and not go out?

I hope they don't keep building at Soneva Jani otherwise it will end up with hardly any natural vegetation like this. Also wood panelling from Borneo? Probably at the Orangutan's expense?
