Amazing place and video I will stay one week in the other Shangri La in Sri Lanka in less than two weeks. can't wait Just a remark about your videos. as I've already told you before, it is absolutely perfect and my favorite weekly program but one single thing is missing to reach absolute perfection: can you please name what you are eating? It would be so great: ) Also, really love when you are taking us for a walk around the hotel or in the city: )

Wow, my jaw dropped What beautiful hotel. The decor is sumptuous, beautiful and the food is amazing. The dinner looked rather delicious. What was that? Thats Sri Lanka at for you at its best. I loved it. Thank you for the full review. Very informative. When I go to Sri Lanka I shall stay at Shangri-La Hotel unless you show another hotel even more impressive. Cheers.

Ok, the hotel is a nice try, but does not really remind me of a typical Shangri La unfortunately. The typical Shangri La coziness is missing. Very cold hotel. For me in Colombo are only 2 hotels to stay at, the Cinnamon Grand and the Mount Lavinia Hotel, both top notch.

While the rest of Sri Lanka is living in extreme poverty. but excellent report, nonetheless. I would have hoped that instead of building this 'luxe' hotel they would've built homes and public schools for the homeless.

I suggest all tourism hotels. tourist must go under all type of security chk before and after and during their stay. Bomb detection equipmnt must be installed in ever hook. n cornerOf the place

I was in Sri Lanka last yearbut I have never stayed at that hotel. I don't think it was open when I was there but it is very nice.
