Join me on a two day hiking tour in Corcovado National Park on Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. Called the most biodiverse place in the world by National Geographic, Corcovado houses 3% of the world's biodiversity.
The video includes:

- An overnight stay at the Serene Ranger Station
- Hike from the Serene to La Leona Ranger Station
- Wildlife spotting, including a puma encounter
Before our trip to the famous Corcovado Park, we had a stop for a couple of days at the tourist Corcovado Light, a place near Manuel Antonio Park. Manuel Antonio Park is small and full of a huge number of animals, whose impudence went beyond all possible limits. The raccoons we just chased instead of taking pictures. One minute confusion and he's already unceremoniously rummaging through your backpack...
You should not get stuck on the pictures in the style of bounty. In fact the sea is so-so, and the waves are present, and the stones on the bottom fly, and the water is too warm, muddy, and then with some foam, then with some branches. But to walk through the forest is very interesting. Natural jungle and a lot of animals, which you bump into, even if you are nearsighted and forgot your glasses at the hotel. They are just under your feet.
We stayed at the El Parador Hotel. It proudly bears the heavy burden of 7 stars. In fact an ordinary 4-star, but located on a rocky promontory in the stunning jungle. Yes, to the beach we have to walk 15 minutes, however, through the jungle and the beach is very decent, better than in Manuel Antonio. But the coolest thing is to walk through the jungle at dawn with a camera. Just awesome!
Generally speaking, racing through Costa Rica in a large group is not the best time in the country. It is better to concentrate on 2-3 reserves and just dive into the flora and fauna, leisurely enjoying nature and fully communicating with the wild inhabitants of these beautiful places.
