American Airlines B777-300ER First Class New York to London (+ JFK Flagship Lounge) The Aircraft King: I think all the negative views about the US carriers are for sure a thing of the past for old configurations and seats, although I still think United has to stop the 8 abreast business class, thank god for Polaris business. But this is very nice, I think American has definitely come a long way from its old first and business class and honestly, the business class is the same seat as Cathay business, dragonair first, and other airlines. I think their first class is pretty nicely done too for their flagship aircraft and honestly the swivel feature is simply unique and innovative. Great video, and thank you for showing us this wonderful hard and soft product. Also on a side note, are there any special credit cards you use to rack miles for airlines?

I don't know whether all of the negative comments are from paid shills or if they're just haters but I thought the flight and the service was very nicely done. I've watched many videos and read alot of Skytrax reviews for carriers from all over the world including many of the Asian and Middle Eastern carriers and this service is certainly on par with many of those other carriers videos and reviews. Negative people tend to have much disdain for positive people so I'm sure I'll get an earful. Thanks again for the video

I have been flying with AA since 1982 (mostly first and business class, and AA services are going down hill from great to D- and keep diving. Their mileage program is even worse, no respects 4 million milers, even UA, Delta have better recognitions and rewards. This so called mileage reward is addictive and poisonous. I am missing good old days when travel was pleasure, fun and exciting adventure for everyone and US carriers were among the top tiers(remember PANAM SERVICES.

That Whisky choice is poor. Why is there not at least one Scottish Single Malt listed? Canadian Club or Jack Daniels is like chosing between plague or cholera. For a 10. 000 dollar ticket I'd expect a decent Single Malt like Bruichladdich, Lagavulin or Ardbeg. Well, probably it's clever thinking by AA. Since you Americans throw tons of ice into the tumbler it's not worthing serving Whisky from a 50 dollar bottle, so you're just fine with your best friend Jack

Great review, thank you for filming it. One of the reasons i avoid flying US based airlines is lounges. So overcrowded, people are on top of each other, food selection is horrible (look at middle eastern and Asian carriers please. American call those narrow seats a flagship? Touch screens seem to have the same issue with either when you dont touch them hard enough or youre going too crazy when it scrolls and cant stop in time.

Thanks for the video. It shows why using an American air carriers first class is not worth the thousands of extra dollars that it costs. I mean you get about 30 worth of junk, American air carriers always have bad food but yes you do get a bigger seat. but at what cost? My take is to fly economy as it is only a dinky little 6 hour flight and use the savings and buy a better place to stay when you are in London.

Thank you for sharing your travels, I like the idea of the arrivals lounge. I do wish more airlines/airpots offers this facility. Just had a recent experience of flying TG F, then had a 5 hour wait for a TG J domestic flight. was 'moved; from international arrivals to domestic how I would have killed for a shower after an overnight flight from LHR: -)

The guy in shorts in the first class lounge lol, the whole airport to airplane seems cheap with a lot of cut corners as usual with all things American, JFK/LGA are ancient airports which have not been kept up to date to any standard they have some buildings dating back 60 to 70 years ago

Why has AA 1st class got so expensive now? I now fly BA from LAX to LHR, a partner airline btw, because its so much cheaper The BA lounge at T5 is much better, better facilities, better food, better everything and you feel 1st class at BA. AA you get 3/4 drinks and thats about it.

I have to say, it actually looks very interesting and original Sure, the Gulf liners have very lavish first class, but considering value for money, its pretty good. This new first class in American stands to compete and beat many of its European/American competitors.
