Read here my review of this transfer: Daniel Hammond: Fabulous scenery. Personally, I am not keen on the reality of propeller aircraft, they are quite noisy and slow, but I like the idea of them. If I get myself into the right mood, by blocking out what is around me, I can pretend that it is 1938 and I am flying on one of the first long distance inter-continental flights, say from Australia to Europe Yes, I am a dreamer and a romantic LOL

I'm surprised by how large the island group is. Taking an hour to get back to Male means quite a vast stretch of islands. Hope the seats were comfortable. Flown on the Dash a number of times and so much depends on how well designed and padded the seats are

Sir, What I think is. You should have the name of your page as The Luxury Travels with a big T. The reason behind is that when The comes before any word, it sounds as it might be special or unique.

The only USP for a turboprop is short take offf and landing, it's a niche that they fill for small airports, but almost everything else; celiling, range, noise is inferior.

It requires considerable imagination to square a flying greyhound bus like the Dash 8 with a luxury travel experience, regardless of its method of propulsion.

Agreed. Just went on one of these. You can feel the power. What I find strange is the slowing down seems more like a car slamming on the breaks.

Nice. more Canadian equipment in the most beautiful place on earth. Explains the shortage of Twin Otter and Dash 8 pilots )
