Enjoy this Pacific Coast Highway drive of the Los Angeles coastline of California going south Starting in Malibu and ending at sunset at the famous Venice Beach sign. This 1. 5 hour drive starts at the northern most part of Malibu just before Oxnard California. We drive past Neptune's Net which is the famous diner in movies such as the Original Fast and Furious, , Iron Man 3, and GTA V. then goes south and makes a stop at Point Dume Zuma Beach. It then makes its way past Pacific Palisades then to Santa Monica and then ends at the Venice Beach Pier

Love your videos. If you ever want to make a video outside of Cali I recommend that you get to Morgantown, WV going south on the West Virginia turnpike (79) and then after a few miles head east on route 50, then south on route 7. You'll see some spectacular autumn views (you do want to make this drive in autumn) and you'll see some amazing Americana along that route.
If you stay on route 7 and cross the Ohio River at Point Pleasant, you will get another interesting view on route 2 in West Virginia which runs right along the Ohio River all the way to Barboursville, WV which is where the scenic route ends.

Beautiful video. Malibu is a coastal city in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles County, California. It is know for its Mediterranean climate and Malibu's 21-mile coastline. Malibu is home to many Hollywood celebrites. Entertainment and other affuent people live throughout the city, but many residents are middle- class. Looks like a very quiet route with no traffic. Driving this route is pure pleasure. A wide and quiet road, I wish you from Chicago, Illinois. A very beautiful route with lots of beautiful views.

The graphics are pretty good. The AI seems pretty basic, not a lot of interactions. The mountains look pretty good, though there are some pop-ins with the LOD, and there is a lack of vegetation. You might want to add more, to add more realism, if your game-engine and hardware can run it at solid FPS. The water, on the other hand, looks pretty 2006-ish.

Wife is from Malibu I got married to her at Zuma, Mother in Law still lives there and we visit when we can. When My Wife was a teen her favorite past time was to ride her horse on the beach and out run the lifeguards who were trying to catch her to give her a ticket, they did corner her one day and she had to stop when it cost her money.

Nice Sunday afternoon drive man! Reminded me back in those days, when I first got my CA driver license at age 16. Just don't ask how long ago it was and how old I am now man. Yeah my fast & furious days are over for sure. So glad to survived it, that was some crazy & memorable times man.

I wish is to come and live in USA, in one of those cities, and then take a roadtrip accross USA to visit many places, too bad I cant afford it to come and stay because I live in most corrupted and garbage country in europe. :(

Thanks for this - for me - throwback. 60s and 70s kid from Palisades/Santa Monica. The Malibu Colony used to be public and we would go there sometimes to avoid the crowds further south.

I did a similar drive when I was out there. Very nice. Cali sure is a different place than most of the US. I love to visit, bust cost of living is ridiculous!

Beach is basically tiny strip of sand next to the highway. If living on the coast, each time need to cross busy highway to get to the water.

-Car rides to Malibu
Strawberry ice cream, one spoon for two
And trading jackets, laughing 'bout how small it looks on you. -

Nice video, but why do you write -8K- HDR Dolby Vision is a mystery to me. I can only play max 4k 60p on my 8K TV.

I've only driven the PCH northbound. So great to have a high quality vid southbound with sun behind. Well done. --
