Americans are much more polite than us Westerners that if you go slowly on a road as you did they ring you threaten you or give you the middle finger without talking about the tax burden that here in Italy is 55% and starvation wages if you find undeclared work and give you an equivalent of 600 dollars a month and you can not pay the bills and support a family if then you have a car you are ruined stamp insurance and gasoline better from you

Santa Monica has the ocean drive that is very dead in comparison to its counterpart over in Miami but at least you can see the ocean from it. That's the major thing I hate about SoBe, you can't see the sea from the walkway unless you go over the dunes. What a bummer. But still, the architecture sort of makes up for that. Again, Santa Monica's ocean front is a bit boring, it needs livening up a bit.

I wish one could just move there and live in a nice home in one of the beach cities with the income of a normal job. But unfortunately you have to be a millionaire. Been to Redondo hermosa and manhatten beach last summer and since then longing to go back to california. Greetings from hot but ocean- and almost lake-less Germany.

Absolutely stunning place to live. I'm so envious. I live in Manchester in the U. K. Manchester has the nickname -The rainy city- so you can imaine just how much more appealing this place looks: )

What a great view of the Long Beach ports! We visited Southern California last summer, but couldn-t make it to see the ports, so this was great way for me to actually see it. Thank you!

Wow. It takes four plus hours to drive from San Clemente in Orange County to Maliboo in Los Angeles County.
Oops, forgot, this ain't October. So, it's not Maliboo, but Malibu.

This is why Southern California best place on Earth(Geographically speaking) Beautiful beaches and weather. And skiing in the mountains is about 90 minutes away.

Very well done. Next time you might want to drive into Marina del Rey and get the village on Fiji and some of the huge sailboats that are in the north west section.

California is the most beautiful state ever in my opinion. Especially the scenery drive throughout Dana Point, it's a beautiful scenic spot for driving.
