St Petersburg, FL to Maryville, TN - A Complete Road Trip

This entire drive took place on August 11, 2018 and from St Petersburg, Florida to Knoxville, Tennessee. This is part 2 of my Key West to Dulles Airport road trip. There is no GPS information available for this video, and the video ends in Maryville instead of Knoxville, because the last bit of video got corrupt and unusable. This video is available in 60fps, instead of the 30fps that all of my other videos have been created with. The links to the other two parts: Key West to St Petersburg, FL: Knoxville, TN to Dulles, VA

You make driving from state to state a better choice than if I were to take an airplane. More to see on the ground. Someone once said, I don’t take the camera out with me. My eyes are the camera for me everyday. Very true. I could take cinematic shots just from riding in the car with you. Case in point, those bikers that passed you added character. I’m an author and I like strange and random things like that.

1: 49: 29 Ah, Marietta, my home town. Amazing little suburb town, and one that I quite cherished, even if my home life was terrible. Best thing about where I lived though, was being able to see all the Air Force aircraft flying over from Dobbins Air Base. C-130s, mostly, though I was able to see a few F-16s and even a F-35.

It's much better with the situational awareness graphics you've always used. It helps your watch time, as it let's you know what is coming up when you know the state. I much prefer that info on, rather than off. Same with the heading and altitude info. I'm sure it's a pain to do, but it makes you stand out from the rest.

Really enjoyed this video, especially the Atlanta part. Atlanta is such a fantastic city! Been there this September and experienced a lot. One thing I could also experience everyday: the horrendous traffic. Riding by train daily, I could see the traffic jams literally everywhere!

Wow. I had seen the most crazy drivers in Georgia area ever. Someone hopped over several lanes. Log truck passed you outside road near GA/TN line. If cop saw log truck, cop will catch log truck. Cop (unmarked black car) caught the white car for speeding in middle of road.

I feel like Georgia is trying to corner the market on tacky billboards. It starts as soon as you're across the state line, and goes on for miles and miles and miles. I miss the graphic in the upper-left and all the elevation and coordinates info you used to provide.

Great video of day 2. I'm sorry I hear that your GPS got screwed up. Also when u were in Tennessee, when it said busted. I thought you were the one getting pulled over when it was the other guy in front of you.

Maryville, TN is a famous small town in TN. Not far from Crossville, TN. Turn right onto Hwy 361 on I-40 going northeast from Crossville toward Knoxville.

1: 47 Grew up in a house a few blocks to the right on this road. When they were building interstate 275 and it was still dirt we rode our bikes for miles up there.

2: 17: 01 That's Benton for you. Place has a reputation for being somewhat of a speed trap.
