When you drove through Maine, it reminded me of your video in Nova Scotia. I95 is well traveled and I’m happy you made this video. It gives me an idea of what east coasters experience. You are a skilled driver, Uncle Coolie. I really enjoy your videos. I use my road atlas as I view your videos. Although, it doesn’t give all of the places you note in the videos. I have only been to New York once. One of my sons attended a summer camp near New Paltz. We drove through NYC and the Holland Tunnel. We could see water seepage! I was happy to get through that! Thanks for sharing.

Funny how the roads suck elephant balls right after you enter New York state. The roads are full of holes and patches. They are noisy. Many side roads are closed which jams the highway. Instantly when you leave New York the problem is no longer there. New York must be the most neglected state in the US. It's embarrassing. This is not only the NYC but the whole state. Being one of the 1/3 richest states and the one with the highest taxes the only possible explanation is corruption. A lot of corruption at every level regardless of what party is in power.

I love seeing the calm 90mph stretch of bangor area and how long it actually takes to find the equal below the big city. It is a long day. I count n 12 hours to philly. no traffic (hit nyc around 2am. My first rides were in the early 80s. I remember being stuck on the gw bridge in a tractor trailer more than several times. gently bouncing as the lower thunder'd. I notice no rigs at all there today. Getting to 40 years now. a lot has changed. thanks for the ride. We had a trucking routine. I still do not miss it much.

I started a cheap bus service with my Chevy 16-passenger transport bus with a makeshift bathroom with a makeshift vacuum toilet, traytables that I bought on Wish, trolley, luggage racks, and a storage unit near the driver's seat. I also put a trash can in front of the bus so the people can dispose of their trash before exiting. I knew that the bus's makeshift vacuum toilet sends the waste onto the roads and lands. It's a good pleasure driving for Microsoft Sam's Super Bus Service! Signed, Microsoft Sam.

Sorry if you have already addressed this before, I haven't read all the comments, but why did you stop for fuel twice in about 15 minutes Also, what do you eat during the day on these long trips You don't seem to stop long enough for a sit down meal, so I am guessing you just have snacks in the car with you. Shame about the weather on this trip, especially as the morning in Bangor started so clearly. Loving your real time videos, please keep them coming!

Hi uncle Cooley my name is Riley and I am disabled your videos Bring me great pleasure as I cannot drive and to be able to experience the driveway along with you is for a real treat thank you for giving your time to make these videos I am an avid Road enthusiast and I love to travel just as you do keep making these videos place they don’t make a difference for people

Is it just me but I lived right next to Dulles and I would drive back and forth to Providence. Why did you go around the capital beltway and criss the Wilson bridge Coming out of Baltimore the shorter and quicker route is the west side of DC going over the Legion Bridge. You went way out of your way and added about 25 minutes maybe more to the trip.

Congratulation! I love your videos. btw
You passed some interesting places during your trip.
Example: 5: 04: 21 Connecticut I-95 Exit 90 - Mystic, CT.
Mystic was a filming location, "Mystic Pizza" (1987) with Julia Roberts, her early years, great movie.
bye, R.

Hey got a drive for you. I don't know if you read Neil Peart's book Ghost Rider but in that book he writes about his motorcycle ride zig zagging across North America from Alaska to Belize. It was something like a 20, 000 mile ride. That would be something cool to do

Never get to be a passenger, especially long trips.
Don't New Jersey, New York want tourists. When travelling there I never saw a Welcome state sign. People don't know what state they're in ( no pun intended, especially for those two states )

Love these videos - I'm just wondering how you can drive so long without listening to some music! I understand why it's not on the videos, but I think I'd go a little crazy driving for 10 hours without some tunes. :-)

The best choice to go for the most road trip adventure in the whole wide world is amazing in the coming years to make it always been along to make it always can't for the history in a lifetime
reply

No offense, but you're obviously not a New Englander. I was facepalming some of the route choices around Boston and down through Connecticut. Take the "Fung Wah trail" next time. :)

I like to use my road atlas to follow along with the trip. I need to buy a large print edition as I get tired of using the magnifying glass all the time. Thanks for another fun trip.

Have you ever considered driving to Alaska from somewhere in the U. S mainland The views would be stunning, especially driving through British Columbia and the Yukon.

When your in house this much time, great video, two questions 1. How did keep noise out your video, 2. Do you travel by yourself
reply

Also, pretty scary weather to hit in the middle of the Miler E Tiding bridge, MD. Beautiful river valley, but unsettling as well.

The forests in Maine are insanely dense. They have a big logging industry there. The trees just grow back super fast.

I love the I-95. Especially the NJ Turnpike. Lots of fond memories as a kid doing summer vacation road trip with my parents: )

How could you be so quiet in the car haha. I would fall asleep if I don't make some noise.

Judging by the V6 diesel engine sound and the tire sound I assume you're driving an SUV

The George Washington Bridge is in The Thumbnail. That's right near me. My favorite part.
