Love your production. I live in TJ, and I would love to invite you back I will not say that petit theft is not an issue. I would be more aware of the police than anybody else. If you have an iPhone, or anything we value as 'normal' in the States, guard it, but recommend leaving it at home. I am street-smart, but I have been mugged for my phone hours after I have used or brought it out of my bag. Theives watch for these things. For hours. And the police (yes, even the tourist police) will rob you also. I recommend to take taxis, which will also rip you off in general, if you are not a local, but always wear nothing, take nothing, and leave your phone at home/hotel (sorry, instagram. The further you go from Revolution, the better you are, obviously, but downtown is a NO-NO. Especially being gringo. The gay bars and dance clubs are there, or around there, but never trust anybody, ever, at all. Do not worry about the cartels, what would they want with YOU? Worry about the cops and bouncers- they want your money and phone and they WILL get both. There is a vast robbery connection in this area, and there are many people involved. An iPhone will afford a family a month's income here, and trust me, find my iPhone, doesn't do a thing here, even if you find it. The police don't care, and you do not want to go to a random place where somebody is a thief in Mexico, you may get killed. Leave your iPhone at home. TIJUANA, however, is amazing, but remember, it IS a border town, and things are different here from the rest of the world. There is a lot of poverty and a lot of envy/jealousy. Je lousy. remember there are lots of lousy people here for all of the fun you're having. PLEASE COME AND ENJOY. This place is great; I love living here. But even locals get robbed. Mind your stuff and have a great time

Did you guys manage to visit club hong kong or adelitas before you returned home? If you guys haven't already, you should definitely show the food scene in ensenada. Tijunas has the better taquerias, but the restaurants down there are really great. some of the best seafood in baja there, puerto nuevo and theres a few noteworthy ones in roasarito too. Just make sure to always park your car where there is a paid attendant watching your car. it doesnt matter if you are parked in front of the store you are checking out, it will get broken into.

As a Baja native who is living now in SD sometimes is hard to convince people to go south the border and appreciate all the new stuff but videos like this one (and the one about Valle de Guadalupe) make it so much easier. I already sent both videos to my friends and convince them on a weekend getaway starting this coming year. keep the good work, the amazing recommendations and thanks for showing how amazing Baja is

Thank you so much for making such a beautiful video: ) Not only did you show a scene that's gaining popularity but you also addressed some of the problems that are still there. It's so difficult trying to explain how tj isn't as dangerous anymore to people further up north but I guess I'll start using this video to explain a bit. Thank you
