The guy at 5: 20 is as bad as the officials who want the event stopped. I don't want non-locals doing this (paraphrasing. What a miserable sod. The whole charm of this thing is that its basically unorganised, its a wonderfully chaotic mix of idiots from all over the world who want to chase a cheese down a hill in Gloucestershire, and why the hell not? Let them have fun. I'm not one of these paranoid people who thinks that the gov'm'nt is always interferin' in ma bidness - the government is useful, it serves a function, and regulations exist for a reason and are usually good. I'm glad that companies can't dump waste into the sea or make pipes out of asbestos. But if people choose to engage in a dangerous activity, that's up to them. None of the police's business.

A long long time ago in 1985 i won the third mans race against a guy that up to that time he had won it 15 times in a roll. At that time only 8 men could enter the each race cause it was considered far to dangerous. Over the years it has gotten a huge international publicity but i can defiantly say that the thrill and the fear are still there. If you want to experience and do something unique crazy and extreme in your life without any official fingering, then you should try if you dare and live to the edge. I am Greek and I would have preferred to had taken back our acropolis marbles from the English, but even the '' Queen cheese '' was still a great satisfaction. Sorry

British cops just hate people havin a bit of fun, they always come up with the same shite comments about its un-organised, so what you dip shit its a bunch of madheads enjoying themselves, or is it that you don't like to see others enjoying a day out because you have to get off your ass and police it where as you would rather be in your car driving around harassing people. British cops are all about control

unorganised, unlicensed. by the elitists that is. They always want to grasp control of anything that still represents ordinary free English people celebrating a traditional and fun working class event, because they and their shyster cronies resent not being able to profit off of it

Brilliant film; the best I've seen of the cheese rolling. I went for the first time myself this year; here's my footage: Cheese Rolling at Cooper's Hill, Gloucestershire, 2014.

oh wow that old man was very racist. He should be happy that people enjoy the tradition, who cares where they are from. This kind of close minded people spoils the mood for everyone.

Their sign at 4: 32 remind's me so much of South Park's THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM CONTAINS COARSE LANGUAGE AND DUE TO ITS CONTENT IT SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED BY ANYONE
