I packed my BMW f800GS motorcycle, grabbed my girlfriend and a tent and went on an epic California road trip to see the wildflower super bloom and a slice of old California wilderness, the Carrizo Plains.

So I have to comment on your remark about the hwy 33 being the highest rated motorcycle road in Cali; you obviously have not rode Hwy 36 from Ferndale to Red Bluff, that is by far the most amazing road I have been on in my travels up and down the state of California. I have rode most of the roads in your videos, so I am knowledgeable and unbiased. If you ever get up that way ride it, it is epic none stop twisties the entire way.

I love your motorcycle and thanks for your tips and information of your travels. I've prepared to travel around the world by motorcycle but have changed my plans how to do since working current job and watching your videos. There're so many different ways to accomplish my goals and have to think about the risks I need to face in the different situations. Anyway, I watch your video, study them, Thanks again

Glad to finally see a motorcycle episode I've been excited about this for a while since I have wanted to get a motorcycle and go on motorcycle tours. What a great place to set up camp too Were you able to see the stars out there? Cool you both got some time out in nature. This video was something different and chill but very enjoyable; thanks for taking us along for the ride

great video Liked & subbed. I love your camera work and the editing. Very clean. We were supposed to come out to California from Florida on our bike in May, but at the last minute had to cancel: -( so we went to North Carolina mountains instead. Your video made me realize what we are missing. We have to get out there. Stay safe out there. Mike & Nina

With all the news(politics, social healthcare. etc) coming out of the U. S right now; Ive often said repeatedly I do not miss it. But you single-handedly (with this video) made me miss the ole USofA so much. Few places in the world that still has such truly wild regions. Enjoy

I drove that highway and stopped at that exact same spot as you did (at 5: 00 in the video) years ago after I'd went to Maricopa for a work trip. At the time I was planning to retire early and considering living in a van. That drive definitely nudged me forward. :-D

Cracking video. As a keen photographer who's prone to random weekend adventures (in my trusty green jeep instead of a motorbike) I'd be interested to see you incorporate a bit about your photography on little trips like this. thanks for the vids and peace
