Hey YBS - I was in Vietnam in 71 and swimming off the beach in Danang with a surfboard left by the Marines. I was Army and we took over their base. Small wave surfing - 2 to 3 feet. Saw a very big and thick snake that was mostly all black and yellow rings being bright yellow. Maybe 5 to 6 feet but not the ribbon like body if I recall correctly - more thick and round. I think he was not healthy as I was able to get the surfboard under him and was heading back to shore in about 2. 5 feet of water walking and pushing the board and snake on it.
Some waves came and pushed the board out of my hand breaking on me from behind. Snake disappeared in the foam and I high stepped it back to shore real fast.
Scared the heck out of me. You all stay safe out there.

Is this the beaked sea snake (Enhydrina schistosa, hook-nosed sea snake? It's supposed to be the most aggressive sea snake. Wasn't it creepy to swim near it?

What I find mad he sees a venomous snake that can kill you and he jump in the water with it lol Id shit my self I live in uk so theres nuttin that can kill us lol
