My dad and I got hit by Irakanji in 2000, spent 4 days in intensive care. You havent lived until youve gone through that ride I tell ya: ) About 30 minutes post sting the body starts to feel a bit skewey and then shake and spasm, eventually the pain and muscle movement become uncontrollable, and as theres no antidote for the neurotoxin, medical staff can only sedate you enough to avoid injuring yourself during the convulsions. By the ticket, take the ride. Brilliant vids man: )

they way you live in australia makes me so jealous. i live in germany, we have like bad weather 3/4 of the year, you guys drivin to the beach with your jetskies and fishing equipment makes me go there aswel and just live in australia, wish i had the money to do this: (

Oh wow, where was this exactly? I was swimming in this region and thought Irukandji and fleckeri live only further north. Always heard ppl say it starts in the kimberley region. Scary stuff mate.
