Alex, great overview. An amazing makeover. A few nits: Someone else mentioned the off-center tach and speedo triggering their OCD - same here! Other oddities - no rear sun shades, especially in this price range but a feature available on much lessers, and reinvention of exterior door handles that seems to be a fad lately. Looks to be another possible problem area in freezing weather Regardless, something fiddly to go wrong, and unnecessary, like on the 992 911 and others - the answer to the question that absolutely no one asked, for such a straightforward but critical function that--as far as I know--was never a problem area before (you notice the new Panamera seems to have regular handles, maybe someone listened re the 911. Rollerskate 22s at least a size too far, but that's nothing new these days. Hope the brake size permits a sizing down. I'm never a fan of the combo of red and black (especiallu if more dark gray as appears here. I'd rather see a higher ratio of red to black like an old Mercedes (and I am not a red person) - more luxe. My. 02.

I’ll never get another Infiniti. I leased 7-8 of them and they stopped making drivable vehicles several years ago. I’d go Acura or Lexus again. But, i like the Germans now, excepting Mercedes. I’m on my second Audi and it’s a hoot to drive. My Audi has real exhaust tips, too. I can afford to maintain it. I always felt Infiniti had the best customer service, in terms of the buying experience.

Everything just seems to fall into place for the QX80. The luxury, style, power, etc is a quantim leap for the 14 year old vehicle that is replacing.
They really spent considerable time and effort to make this vehicle super relevant for the times and class. Now. Infiniti should address the Q50, bring back the QX70, and consider flagship sedan to take on the Genesis G90 and best from Germany.

I think Cadillac has nothing to worry about being how everyone is inspired by their latest design language. I see lots of Escalade inspiration in this exterior and interior but no one has quite outdone Cadillac’s interior yet. It seems more like competition is finally catching up to it.
I will say Lincoln, Lexus, and Jeep just got outclassed by Infiniti and they have a lot of work to do.

Jarringly flat instrument cluster. So very flat and sharp edged. Blacked out wood. Why I want to see the wood in warm brown-red tones, not some aged, greyed out barn wood (burnt wood. Very odd feeling looking at the gauges that are not centered in the display. very odd look indeed. Too many subdued color and styling elements.

Design wise is an evolution but why are the wheel arches so wide. It’s looks so awkward. Turbo 6 cylinder, lots of gears. Fancy LEDs and big screens. Where are the hybrids/ plugins. Screen don’t impress me. I want to see ground breaking engineering tech.

It's crazy that the truck makes those 22s look like 17s. The fact that the front looks so much like Palisade and they went with Autograph for its trim name instead of Calligraphy is kind of lol-worthy. Should hopefully be a nice vehicle to own and maintain.

Once again it turned out to be an ugly hippopotamus. The small-looking wheels pressed into the arches resemble an old woman. In addition, this vehicle is famous for the greatest loss of value in North Americaat the same time it looks good inside.

This looks amazing just from the first few seconds, and the interior looks proper worthy. I really like this and the new GX from Lexus. By far 2 of my favorite new SUV’s on the market. I might even take this over a GLS or X7

Is this an all new vehicle Or is it a heavily, HEAVILY revised version of the outgoing like the Z The body hard points look too similar to not share a lot of DNA with the old one. Curious to see if I’m wrong.

I think infiniti nailed the new QX80. And I think the Lexus LX600 will be a very tough sell now even within this own Toyota/Lexus line up let alone this new QX80. the LX600 is outdated already even when it was new.

It doesn’t look that different from the outside. Interior looks better but has an infinite number of ways for things to break. It’s also frustrating how many cars don’t allow for CarPlay to use the entire screen.

The static buttons and climate control should of been physical. The screens waste so much space just for these 1 to 1 functions. This alone would prevent me from ever buying the vehicle.

It looks beautiful on the interior, the screens and some of their execution looks cheap to me. Still a step up for Infiniti and they have left Lexus, Genesis, Lincoln and Jeep in the dust.

Hyundai should feel flattered. That front end is ripped right off the Palisade. With that said, happy to see Infiniti finally releasing another desirable product.

I'm not a fan of the blue LEDs on the front. I do like the interior but the exterior looks too much like the old one. Infiniti did a pretty good job, just not for me!

Way better than the LX. I wouldn’t pay for the LX if its price was reduced by $20k. I was disappointed with the LX from the beginning of the current generation
