The G63 answers the question that so few of us have been asking: What happens when you add 577 horsepower to a square off-roader? Is it fast? Yep. Does it handle well? Not in the way you're thinking. Is it worth is? Possibly not. Is it epic? Without a doubt. Do I want one? Yes.
bird718: the G wagon is an very upscale jeep wranger Rubicon but the wranger is a better vehicle plus you can remove the top on the jeep. the only reason the last generation sold well was due to everyone being a copy cat and buying the most expensive suv they could find. that markets now owned by Lamborghini, Bentley and Rolls Royce, i see more bentys and lamborgini suv's on the road then new G wagons, old ones are more common but thats on the used market owned by people who are a little behind the trend. the performance suv/crossover buyers are into thngs like the x3 M40i and modding those and now waiting for the x3m to hit the dealers. i don't see sales of the new G wagon going anywhere and with ferrari entereing the market soon its only going to get worse for the others. i know the BMW is a different maket segment but its still takes a few customers away from the others because some people rather tune then buy high end vehicles regardless of price, thats my 2 cents Date: 2019-10-01
