Maybe Im missing something but is 30 minutes for 80% supposed to be that much better? And nearly an hour for a full charge? How is that superior to anything? For charging at home it might not matter that much, but compared to a two minute fill up for petrol it seems like a real chore.

I suspect Porsche wants Taycon to rhyme with icon, and paid a small army of consultants to make the decision. but this will be like teaching a Canadian how to say pasta

Doesn't the system keep 10-15% for starting the car, so you really don't have more than 80-to 90% peak power on those batteries.
