These are the cars you should check out if you e going to be visiting the Detroit Auto Show, or just new car shopping in 2019 Thomas casidy: Cadillac the joke of the auto show. They took billions in taxpayer bailout money. This is the crap they think we deserve in return. If I were the designers of all the beautiful concepts over the past five years, I would quick and go to a auto company with balls. Cadillac is now competing with Hyundai with their flagship CT6. People are actually saying the Genisis is a better car. Cadillac has destroyed their reputation as a world class auto maker. It makes me wonder how through the 20s, into the 80s they produced such beautiful cars. Now for forty years and counting, they have been producing crap. Either they have lost their taste in cars or they think we have. The 2020 S class will show these asshats how good American tastes in cars is

More athletic lookig but the top line of the body panel from back to fron is not contoured into the body like the new Lincoln Aviator and the Range Rovers. That one flaw makes it look like a Hyundai. Its not clean looking. Also, the front end is not attractive. It looks like an Edge. I agree it looks better from the side with the slanted roof but the front just doesnt do anything for me. Its not terrible but its nothing special. The grille will need a refresh before I buy. I might look into a Aviator. Interior Screen looks out of place. It looks as they couldnt come up with a design to make it fit so they just stuck it up there. It looks gaudy instead of clean looking.

I wonder how reliable the new Forester is? I like the car and the brand, I even visited their factory in Japan. I am afraid to risk my own money on their head gaskets and CVT. Last time I did my research Subaru was claiming their CVT is so reliable it doesnt need maintenance. Makes me wonder how that thinking works out after few years on engine breaking with a CVT belt that is by design strong in only one direction.

Thanks to all this coverage I know for sure now this will be the first NAIAS that miss in over a decade, maybe even longer than that. They should have called it the North American International Truck & SUV show. Whats even more insulting is they have the balls to charge 14 to see a show thats has virtually nothing. Hopefully the cars and automakers will be back next summer, I will wait until then to see.

When is Lincoln as a brand going away? It is just copies of the Ford models with more fake wood. It is impossible to distance itself from the over 60 year old marketing and reach more demographics. Same with Cadillac. GM has so many copy brands we all know they are basically the same.

8: 15 that was Jetta, not Passat. well, still understandable since VW hasnt done anything for Passat and every other American version models. people might get shock of they see how different between European models and American models.

Alex, you are giving Toyota way too much credit for the Supra. Toyotas contribution is minimal. This is a BMW Z4 coupe with extra ugly. Look inside and youll see it is all BMW, including even iDrive.
